That the black man and the white man and the brown man and the yellow man are standing together
On a flight from Philadelphia to Los Angeles.
Is it time for belt tightening?
In time of high jet fuel prices
Is this the right thing to do?

You would approve of this on shorter flights perhaps?
Is it a brilliant idea or a bad one?

There is something to be said for keeping the working populace on its toes

I used to be forced to stand on my 25 minute bus ride to high school
I could handle a 25 minute standing flight
but how far would a 25 minute flight take me?
nowhere interesting, so fuck that shit

Buddha was born a Kshatriya but decided to abandon his dharma and go on a tangent.
I have been analyzing his teachings with an open mind since I am an independent religious thinker
And dont like to dismiss things without giving them a good look

His teachings so far are a mixed bag

I only fly international in business class, I was just looking at my winter flight options and they are only slightly more expensive than recent years. It would seem the airlines are simply charging econo slobs more and more.
That's fine, I pay way more taxes than econo slobs anyway. I hope your trips are very uncomfortable back there, I especially like to wait until when they open econo boarding, at which time I go through the priority boarding lane to make the gate agents stop econo slobs in their tracks to let me go first. I try to time my line insertion right before an inter-racial couple is supposed to pass the agents.

This setup is extremely unlikely. They maybe get half a dozen more seats, but certainly can’t charge as much as a sit-down plane.

I find the Buddhist concept of Nirvana interesting. Its different from the Hindu Moksha of course
Still I will have to admit that so far my delves into Buddhism have only been superficial

But I find his teaching on meat consumption, spiritually untenable so far. Perhaps I am missing something
Like I said I haven't delved deep

Instead, the Buddha instituted the rule of the "three pure kinds of flesh," outlining when meat is permissible for monks to consume.
It is considered acceptable to eat meat only if the practitioner:

Did not see the animal killed.
Did not hear the animal being killed.
Has no reason to suspect the animal was slaughtered specifically to feed them

Morally dubious on the face of it. But I haven't finished studying it yet

Every time this is proposed, the legal department of an airline always says it's a bad idea because one (1) plane crash would completely eliminate any possible economic advantage this would theoretically bring. The wrongful death suits would borderline bankrupt them
>>
>>538415847
>>538416146
The amount of space it saves is negligible and it won't work for fat or disabled people. The ADA will have a hayday with that. Even if it gets greenlit and starts the price will go down and then steadily rise back to what it was.
The issue with flying in the US is that in the international airports its ran like a zoo with gorillas yelling and directing people. Once you get on a plane some monkey decides to start a fight because they are asked if the sit they are in is there seat.

Basically both Moksha and NIrvana are both states in which the atma (closest english concept being the soul) is freed from samsara (they cycle of birth death rebirth

They differ in the way this liberation from Samsara is achieved
I am not yet knowledgeable enough to speak authoritatively on the differences
Because at least in Hinduism itself there are differences on how to achieve this liberation

I would suggest you begin with the respective wikipedia articles and then progress from there. They seem to be of good quality for beginner.

The design was originally a Ryan Air sky bus idea but it would be riddled with problems and wont last.
>board plane slowly
>everyone assumes the position
>plane gets delayed 25 min
>people start shuffling around
>plane takes off
>people who cant stand go to bathroom to sit down
>all bathrooms full
>arguments commence
>someone locks knees and they pass out
>flight attendants lay them in the isle
>emergency procedure makes offloading slower
>20 dollar flight not worth it
>becomes brown slave flights
>browns crouching down
>cant stop them
Wtf do you think will happen lmao

Its a possible improvement to 6 hour trains across countries.
Krakow->Gdansk is like 5 hour train and 9 hour bus. It would be a 35 min flight. If you expedite checkin/tsa shit into a 10 minute event it would actually be quite attractive.
I still dont forsee it working. The core problems with flying is the bullshit the moment you walk in the building until the plane takes off.

>For flights of less than 2 hrs sure
as a teen I could stand still on the train for 30 minutes before muscles start to cramp, I dont see how any normal person could do 2 hours.
and now its about half because aging is a thing, I dont see how this would ever work out even if the flight time got shortened when you intend to serve customers with low physical ability or even handicaps.

plus after walking three kilometers through the airport security and mandatory tax free jungle that seat is really needed.
>>
>>538415847
why bother with "seats"? just give everyone a metal bar to hold onto like a subway
