The net export is millions of barrels per day, the EIA updates this every week. The only thing preventing a shortage right now is the SPR coupled with the limitations of US export capacity which is running at over 90% right now. If capacity to export went up, we'd drain ourselves of oil. This is basically a cap on the movement of WTI/other benchmarks in the US. Once the SPR reaches it's operational minimum in 90 days, the government will stop pumping out unless they want to pump sludge and risk damaging the SPR permanently.
