He eas dragged through the mud for that and had to personally appologize to the Mexican ambassador, which was probably terrifying.. Imagine going into the Mexican embassy after saying something like that, and not knowing if they'll be receptive to your apology or if they'll murder you with a chainsaw and upload it to liveleaks.

Anyway, the mexican ambassador said that personally he thought it was funny, but professionally his stance as ambassador is that Hammond should cool it with that manner of remark.
