>>538474257I don't know about pointless. I used to go into AIM chatrooms ages ago simply to sharpen my wit and practice my typing speed. One room I'd haunt was the pro-abortion room. I had nothing to say to those bitches. I had heard everything that they had ever had to say to me. I wasn't there to craft new arguments or to deeply examine any subject, but rather to gain brain processing speed while trying to hit 90 wpm. For more intelligent discussions, there were IRC channels. For typing practice and for sharpening basic arguments, there was AIM.
