The chancellor of Germany, like most politicians in democracy, is a joke.In a previous thread I was talking about how he made a proposal to german workers in response to the rapidly declining german industry. He finally noticed german industry is going to shit, and came up with a solution: He told workers to work harder. While paying the same taxes, facing the same inflation and housing prices, and the same paperwork obstacles if they try to be self employed, mind you.That didn't work so he came up with a new idea: Telling workers to not take sick leaves, and introduced restrictions.>“We can no longer afford the competitive disadvantage caused by prolonged absences from work,” he declared.So. I just took 3 months straight of sick leave from work over feeling depressed. It goes without saying that I still got paid. The employer can't do shit. Are you going to do the same? Or are you going to do what Merz wants?
Finally a statistic I'm proud of Spain for. We are not a dump after all. We should aim to overtake Norway though.I definitely took longer than 5 weeks last year so its not me.
