What is NYC actually like for white people now that it's 2026 and the mayor is brown?I'm a white sperg on a road trip and I'm considering heading to NYC to experience the hustle and bustle of the big city for the first time. My impression of it comes from movies and TV and in my head being there is like the cartoon Hey Arnold which I saw as a kid (although in pretty sure that was based on Philadelphia or Boston) or something like that. What's day to day life actually like if I pick a good spot? My goal is just to find a good short term rental, stash my car, and sample the lifestyle for a couple of weeks, and to stay longer if I really enjoy it. I want to bomb down main on my fixie and pop into a real happening cafe to order a coffee-microbrew blend at 3 pm on a Wednesday with my fellow hip millennials. Not really, I actually just want to see what it's like to live in a place where I can take the train everywhere and bike between that and my final destination. I don't care about tourist shit at all and this is essentially about having the experience and seeing if I would want to move there long term (doubt it but don't want to dismiss it without trying). One thing to consider is that being a sperg means I look like a gigatourist to normalfags no matter where I am.What am I in for? More importantly is it worth driving thousands of miles on a whim to go there or am I going to get there and realize I hate it? I've been to a handful of cities with around 300k people but never anything even vaguely like NYC. Can I stay with one of you guys?
>>538475248>Most of the city is basically third world brown
>>538475248>/pol/ still calls people brown for going outside
>>538475248I live in NYC. Stay the fuck out of NYC, transplant.
>>538475248Watch Gangs of New York it’s a good documentary
reminder, if you feed your cats lasagna don't put onions in it
>>538475248Imagine if 9/11 had happened on a Monday.
>>538477088Do you guys actually care about that? I've been to many states and a lot of them, especially the southern states, are super butthurt about "transplants," but they mostly bad their opinions on the behaviors of Californians and ironically New Yorkers moving South
>>538477230Looks like someone's got a case of the Mondays!
>>538477123Reminds me of Snowpiercer without the train or snow
