i'm open to them getting write-offs as long as the W2's are willing to forfeit all of the other perks that they get which i dont. PTO, sick days, 401k matches, labor law protection, all of it. what do you say Melanie?
>>
you already pay $0 in taxes melanie. whats a discount off $0???

Would

Good argument actually

>Tax the rich

>Let rich college grads who got jobs in their fields have even more tax loopholes on top of Roth IRAs and other bullshit.
>>
>>538475898
Actually you should just be able to have all of those perks too.
>>
>>538475794
The jets and yachts are company property. Go to college, get a degree, make a ton of cash and you'll be doing the same thing.
>>
>>538475898
Nobody has gotten 401k matches since 1982.

> labor law protection,

Labor law protection is the single biggest violation of human rights in the last 100 years, it's the most degrading thing to ever happen to workers and job seekers.
>>
>>538475794
Guess this genius isn’t aware of the student loan interest deduction. Or lifetime learning credits. Get a credit (better than a deduction) for expenses while in school, then get to deduct up to $2,500/year in student loan interest.
In other words, this already exists.
>>
>>538476280
>Go to college, get a degree, make a ton of cash

Not a single person who goes to college and gets a degree ends up making tons of cash. It's an indoctrination centre designed to make you broke and homeless after.
>>
>>538475794
>write off your student loan payments
A more reasonable request would be to make the *interest* on student loans an itemized deduction
>>
>>538476280
In case you've been under a rock, want to know who makes tons of cash?

Pedophiles who knew Epstein

That's it.

>>
>>538475896
You disagree?
>>
>>538476621
You’re just wrong. Most companies offer matches to their 401k plans. I worked for three such companies in a row. One made a 2:1 matching contribution. Very generous.
>>
>>538476634
>ESL

Calling me ESL when you lack the grammatical ability to spit out a correct sentence.

If corporate employees were earning matching today, the leftists would have them skinned alive.

Literally not a single person with a college degree is taking a job from a rich boomer.

>>538476903
I can't get a job because of labor laws. Labor laws make it harder for companies to hire, and they make them hesitant to hire anybody because an employee could be a liability.

I was homeless when I was DESPERATE to work construction. I begged the owner to hire me, I said I'd do anything for some money to buy food and pay some cheap motel for the night to not be homeless.

He told me he would love to hire me, but he could be sued for not going through the proper procedure, if I got injured, and if he paid me below minimum wage.

I ended up eating out of a trashcan because labor regulations prevented me from working to buy food.
>>
>>538475794
she's wrong

>>538476487
That phases out barely above six figures and it’s not all your interest just up to 2500
>>
>>538475898
If you work full time you get the same amount of mandatory perks as anyone else in a "college degree" position.
Cease being Jewish this instance. Defending the first thing that happens to people the moment they become an adult is being put in life-long debt is peak kikery and I won't tolerate it.
>>
>>538475794
its easy to refute
you see, the yacht and private jet keep the CEO happy :) and a happy CEO will work harder to convince people to buy the stock of the company he works for so that way the share holders can dump on the new baggies and thus the infinite money glitch continues

a college degree doesn't do that therefore only one of those options is objectively superior

it really is that simple

>>538477058
Why should someone earning six figures get any deduction?
>>
>>538476996
You can't get a job because you're immensely retarded.
>>
>>538477120
Somebody only goes into "lifelong debt" for education if they're peak retarded.

If you get a scholarship or your parents pay, you're set. Only retards take student loans out. These are stupid people and I don't feel bad for them.
>>
>>538476996
Is the intention behind these to protect the worker? Sorry that an autistic bureaucratic hurdle messed up your life there. I wonder if there's some compromise that could be put that doesn't hinder employment too much, but makes sure that employers are regulated to be responsible for protections
>>
>>538476280
>make a ton of cash

Just "make a ton of cash" bro

Literally go kill yourself.
>>
>>538475794
No not really.

College loans are genuinely insane, the government/banks buys generic education for a labor unit on the promise that education will pay itself back via taxes/loan interest because the labor unit will become more efficient after being educated.

However this assumes the labor unit will ever be employed. And when the labor can be done by a random third worlder (who isn't even legally different from a slave) for pennies then all the gov/banks have done is arbitrarily append insane payments onto a labor unit that is unprofitable to invest in.

So yes. The labor unit really doesn't have any control over the outcome and is more or less a vessel to launder money through.

Basically the government and banks lie to students and ask them to pay the massive costs of replacing themselves. It's a blatant scam.

All that said college is still worth it if you can avoid debt.
>>
>>538477255
Yes, minimum wage law bans them from paying me below $17 an hour. The saftey law bans them from making me do "unsafe" work. The laws that allow me to sue employers if im injured are there to make sure workers get compensated and can support themselves if they become disabled on the job.

But all these laws made it such a pain in the ass to hire me that they refused, and I ended up starving on the streets for a bit. I was lucky that my parents ended up taking me back in but otherwise I would have died.

That's why I hate labor regulations so much. Before the 1940s, if a man was willing to carry boxes or work construction, and was willing to take the risks, he would never go hungry a day in his life.

Please cite the exact 1982 statute or court decision, you're referencing.

Otherwise you're a retard pointing out a meaningless technicality, because clearly companies still pay in to employees 401k's at a proration based on what employees themselves are paying.

Interest on student loans is already a write off. Also, she thinks write-off means paid off, which it does not. It only confirms the fact that college is just a social club for rich kids, not a place of higher learning.

This is the same poster trying to false flag. The assertion is correct. Student loan debt should be a tax write off because debt created from thin-air.

Interest payments charged on top of debt that was created from thin-air is the definition of usury and is the source of all evil.

>an itemized deduction
Those are pointless since 2017. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act made it so you need $32,200 if married or $15,750 of itemized deductions before you can reduce your tax liability by even one penny. Deductions are not for the working class or middle class. Maybe starts upper-middle/professional, but it won't make much of a dent for anyone not rich.

Every single "full time" job i've been at has had some sort of 401k matching. Some of them better than others, but every one at least had SOMETHING.
