China is a developing country. Having seen first hand what Chinese factories can produce, and having a professional and in depth view of their manufacturing capacity, and very specifically, their quality control systems. I would publicly comment the following:China is a beautiful place, with many beautiful people. They have some INCREDIBLY hard working people, and some very talented people. Unfortunately the culture of corruption does not allow these people to always rise to the top, though in some cases it does. China has a significant pollution problem. This pollution is so significant that it impedes the quality control processes INSIDE factories. Certain products, like medical devices, require sterile environments. It is the underlying culture of corruption which is in fact Chinas second biggest problem. Even factory floor workers will hide quality problems, as well as supervisors, managers and owners.
