This led to the Serbs having larger territory, more population, and thus being stronger then the rest of the later Yugoslav Republics. The Slovenians were part of Yugoslavia, but always looked more towards the West. Croatia was weaker than Serbia, thus, it naturally came to ally with Slovenia, which, in turn, saw an ally in Kosovo during the mid to late 80s. Back when Tito was alive, he decentralized Serbia as a way to guarantee stability to the other Yugoslav republics. But, then the state came into financial troubles and Slovenians, then, later Croatians demanded a switch from Socialism towards Capitalism. Yet, Slovenia was very aggressive in it's push. Yugoslav secret police makes the Albanians and Serbs that were part of these strikes/riots fight amongst each other. Then Milosevic comes to Kosovo and announces: "Nobody will be beating the Serbs!". Goes back to Belgrade, pulls away autonomy from Kosovo and Vojvodina that kept Serbia decentralized and Yugoslavia delicately balanced. So the Slovenians say: "Fuck it!". Then, Croatia, fearing the fact that they'll stay with the rest of us niggers goes: "Fuck it!" And declares independence right after Slovenia. Now, war rages in Croatia and the idiotic leadership in Bosnia figured out too late that they should've done the same and lended aid to Croatia, but now it's too late since the Serbs have entrenched themselves around the capital city of Sarajevo and have some (as per the CIA declassified documents) 150-300 special forces incoming to Bosnia, via Serbia, every half month. But the idiots in Bosnia realized they were idiots and the Serbs are now the only ones calling the shots, so they, very quickly, declare independence and all hell breaks loose.

Bosnia is a sovereign state whose entities were created by the Dayton Constitution. Just like Vojvodina and Kosovo could never seceede from Serbia.
