In corrupt countries like Eastern Europe it's common for government workers to literally do nothing. They just 'clock in' and collect a salary and sit at home. Trump eliminated most of those bullshit WFH jobs and made the rest of them start regularly coming back into their offices. The only government jobs now that are still full time telework are ones where coming into an office doesn't make sense due to the nature of the job and/or jobs that were full time telework since long before all of the covid bullshit. And even those have been scaled back a lot. You can go to usajobs.gov and filter for remote only and it currently only has 30 remote only jobs out of many thousands of current open positions.t. former fed
