bluesky keeps screeching that everyone is starving and "nobody can afford basic goods," but out here in reality, everything seems completely fine.
My local grocery stores and small businesses up in the Northeast are as packed as ever. There was a noticeable slowdown around Christmas, but foot traffic is fully back to normal now. Is the doomposting real where you are, or is it just more leftoid hysteria?

This anon is a shill he will try to tell you that you are imagining your economic problems and the price of gas and food is cheaper today than under Biden.

my salary and investments are growing faster than inflation.

I stayed at the Marriott in nyc for Fourth of July it was a full house I almost didn’t get a room
Every time I go to Costco no matter what time or day of the week it is also a full house with barely any parking

Things seem ok but I suspect a lot of people are maxing out their credit cards though

credit card metrics seem normal - delinquency rate started decreasing in Q3 2024 and has been decreasing ever since

what is bluesky?

yeah, sentiment is down but I assume this is because of a massive propaganda campaign. if you trusted NYT you'd think that half of the country doesn't have water because data centers consume water and produce tokens.

leftist twitter. it's about as echo chamber as reddit.

Yeah humanity is enslaved to money so there’s a lot of stuff right now, don’t worry there will be more problems eventually because everyone is stupid

I was able to save 50k in 5 years because my grandma drives me to work lol
i'd probably only have saved like 20 if I had to own a car this whole time
>>
No shit. In the northeast we have Market Basket so there is actually competition in the grocery scene. (((They))) keep trying to force MB to sell to (((investors))). Hopefully never happens....

My celery is also growing faster.
