This is a completely non-irony post. It’s hot as fuck around the entire globe. I’ve lived in Florida for a while and I can not remember a past summer where it’s this consistently well above average temperatures, every single day. This upcoming week it will be mid-90s every single day. Usually it’s between 89-92 with high humidity. Obviously last week we had the heat dome in the Midwest and northeast. Europe has gotten so bad that everyone is finally coming around on AC. Indias been hot as shit. I don’t have any data in front of me, but I’d be willing to bet this is the hottest summer on record for the world since we’ve started tracking this kind of thing. I don’t know if it’s caused by man, or if it’s just a natural cycle. It doesn’t really matter. This thread isn’t about that. What the fuck are we going to do as a species? We’re being baked to death and if it keeps getting worse more people will die by heat or by starvation
