no one cares chink. china looks like shit because all of it's shillfarms use memeflags
Why would japanese authorities care about this? That's literally how shithole countries work. The bureaucracy is awful, but they "expedite it" if you pay a bribe. That is how it works in Spain too, and everyone trying to do business here pays the bribe.

>peeps be missing the point.Jap construction companies are experiencing record bankruptcies because they aren't getting the contracts anymore after losing to Chinese (for dirt cheap but shoddy builds, mainly in 3rd world like Venezuela) and Koreans (cost more but you get quality) and so the Japs are resorting to bribes and corruption in order to salvage yet another industry that is getting absolutely gutted by Chinese and Korean companies. Its a sign that Japan is desperate.

Not every place is like the US where you can just go around bribing people
>>538538592This shit happens all the time. They must've gotten sloppy when disguising the payment as a "consultancy fee" or whatnot. Honestly, it's very hard to compete with China in the African market since they do not have any ethics rules or anti-bribery laws holding them back. The only times Japan gets in is when JAICA is paying the bill.>t. heavy industry insider
