The only thing keeping AI afloat is investor grift, because it costs more to run the AI than they are charging for it. If people had to pay the actual price for using AI tokens, no one would do it because its clearly not worth the cost. Even now, at the 'we are bleeding money' discount, companies are already questioning whether they are actually getting anything out of having switched over to AI because its not reflecting in better service or better products and the cost of the tokens isn't even making it reliably cheaper than the human employees they had before.
