Artificial Intelligence is able at this point to simulate consciousness and sentience so well, you almost can't tell the difference unless you look for the little problems like hallucinations or gaps from when the model resets because your chat window resets, model memory is wiped or the model serving you is changed mid-conversation when it suddenly has no idea who you are or what you're talking about, after knowing you intimately.
