BTW, Americans don’t even own their storage units.

I have one. But it's chock full of decades worth of boomer crap

How much it cost to rent a storage unit?
>>
>>538547406
most Americans use the garage in their house, but I guess they don't own that either

Have you lived in it ever due to homelessness?

$150 a month

I've slept in my car once, but I wouldn't say I've lived out of my car.

Are you perhaps brown? Or retarded? Or both?

How can i buy a climate controlled storage unit to live in?

Im living in one right now. I even made an underground tunnel and a pool.

I just conducted a study that concluded that OP should fucking kill himself. It was unanimous, every single expert agreed.

If you’ve slept in your car you have lived in it.

Tiny spaces are comfy, i can fit my entire life in 3x3x3m and be content.
What helps is understanding that people with big houses and a lot of stuff are spending like 10% of their waking life maintaining that shit. Literally brushing the dust off of it.
I'm beginning to take the same stance against cooking. Batch cooking a pot of rice, lentils, beans and having 4 days of food ready is great. Probably shave off 90% of the time i would have otherwise spent milling about in the kitchen.

I was extremely poor as a young adult and knew lots of poor people. I've never heard of any of them do this or even consider it. Maybe 1 in 5 have couch surfed, but living in a storage unit seems absolutely made up.
>>
It's because of dei level jobs available for every retard who goes to college or a training program that pay way too much. People make 98k a year and think they can spend 500k. Then they get laid off from their job that couldn't give 2 fucks and find out.

Idk man there are a lot of storage units popping up here in urban areas of Michigan anyway. A lot of them are outside but they have been buying up old strip malls and Harley dealerships and whatnot and turning them into indoor storage facilities. I'm starting to think it's really that bad and we just don't know because nobody talks about it.
>>
>>538547384
>1 in 5 Americans has lived in a storage unit

>>538547384
>but 1 in 5 Americans has lived in a storage unit
are we counting beaner invaders as americans now?
>>
>>538548817
You also have to remember America is only half white now and I'm sure that contributes. You might be a little sheltered. Cities especially are full of literal human trash that just do drugs full time and living in a storage unit would be a dream come true.
>>
I have a metal shed for a workshop and it sucks. I’m desperate to get it properly insulated so it will be more useful, but to sleep in it? No way. Yeah, shipping containers can be converted into comfortable living spaces, but you have to basically build an isolated box within a box, while ensuring good ventilation. That’s a fantasy for most. And that’s assuming the container is on your own property…
>>
>>538547582
>at least once
I was movie shit, tired, and it was really warm. Sat down, fell asleep for ~30 min. Guess I'm a homeless bum now. You don't hate (((pollsters))) enough.

I've come to the conclusion that cooking inside is unnatural, and if it must be done inside then it should be done in a separate structure detached from the other rooms.

>>538547505
brought to you by the same people that say:
1 in 2 women are raped
1 in 4 homeless are women
and
1 in 5 felons is a nonwhite doctor, engineer, or scientist
>>
>>538549021
White people are the ones who do things like this while non-Whites have public housing, larger families, and multiple baby mamas to stay with.
>>
>>538550096
Or 1/5 african americans are felons
or 1/3 pitbulls are violent
>>
>>538549973
this is not a proper commie block. and if it is then it's 4 commie flats made into one.
typical commie flats are micro sized cattle cells. 50 square meters is considered luxurious
>>
>>538547505
Here's the bullshit:
>BELLEVUE, Wash., July 8, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- StorageUnits.com, a reliable and user-friendly platform for finding the best and most convenient storage facilities, has released new findings
lol
>revealing that 1 in 5 Americans have slept in a storage unit. The survey of 2,000 U.S. adults sheds light on how rising housing costs, life transitions, and limited shelter options are pushing some to seek unconventional alternatives despite legal restrictions.
>While 24% say they only spent one night in a unit, nearly half (49%) stayed for a few nights, and others reported spending a week (13%) or multiple weeks (10%). A small share say they stayed for several months (2%), a year (1%), or longer (1%). Men were twice as likely as women to report sleeping in a storage unit (28% vs. 13%).
>Thirty-six percent say they did so while experiencing homelessness, while others were in between places (30%), renovating their home (16%), or had a conflict with a roommate or partner (15%). In most cases (79%), the unit belonged to the person who stayed there.
https://www.prweb.com/releases/survey-finds-1-in-5-americans-have-slept-in-a-storage-unit-302499519.html

So 2 out of 3 people who stayed in a storage unit did so voluntarily because it was more convenient than being at their home. So the number of Americans who have lived in a storage unit due to homelessness is closer to 6%, or 1 in 16.
>>
>>538548120
It's always poorly organized garbage. If we killed everyone over fifty-five, maybe sixty, we'd turn this ship around real fucking fast.
>>
>>538550156
1 in 3 male African Americans is a convicted felon this one is true.
1 in 5 male African Americans has served time in jail or prison as is this one.
actual data is different than polls.

I'm still amazed Harley dealerships exist at all at this point. Career guys of a certain age have to be pissing themselves knowing they've got a short cliff-edge brand extinction just around the corner. If I was hiring at Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc. I'd be inclined to tell any applicant from Harley to fuck off.
>>
>>538550221
Over here all the post-war high rise flats are pretty spacious and larger than new build "luxury" apartments. That's the closest thing we have to commie blocks. They look hideous on the outside though.
>>
>>538550475
>it's not data if I don't like it
>>
>>538550248
What a cope.
Y'all live in metal cages when you can't afford cardboard boxes or sheds.
>>
>>538550248
So this is the American version of the c.u.c/k.shed?
>>
>>538550475
How are there fewer felons serving time than the rest of the population being in jail or prison.
I don't know, I'm not a criminal.
>>
>>538547384
>1 in 5 Americans has lived in a storage unit
I call bullshit.
