Not bad country i spent 3 days in Vienna and it good the food is cheap in the grocery stores the hostels where some of the best for 24$. It wasn't to sketchy unlike Paris or Berlin maybe about 20% foreigners the rural country side was very nice though. It had great buildings. It's great having a EU passport you can stay in Europe without a visa I spent 5 months in Europe using mine. If you go to Austria i highly recommend going to Budapest after.

The only positive aspect of Austria is that it is formally not a Nato country, its under the hood a failed state that on the surface remains stable due to a majority of geriatrics that self regulate. In practical terms, the security forces have slipped under 0.15% of the overall population and are getting defunded, bureaucracy is incompetent, overworked and corrupt, juridical apparatus is completely at its limit and jail capacity are exceeding 110% - the transmission belt from paper law to in the field execution simply doesn't exist anymore
