alright i will have to explain this since noone else will. since people use terms like

>war of choice
>transportation costs

You are not going to see a 1970's Fuel Crisis, you are listening to partisan Economists that want their side™ sponsored by Nestle co™ a subsidiary of Walmart™ to win -nothing would change btw-, the reason we saw a fuel crisis back then in the 70's was one hundred percent because Noone and i mean Noone had a Strategic reserve of Oil they had a week's worth of supply at best, now they can in some cases even last multiple years, the economists you're listening too are chasing clicks and grifts, since for one people are listening to them -Noone normally does- half of them are also highly specialized economists, whom all over night Turned into Oil logistics Experts.

But keep glossing over the fact that everyone has a strategic reserve of OIL. the amount of oil going threw the strait is Not 100% of all OIL globally my man. it's around 15-20% which is now as we speak being transported by Road for the most part. so it's more like 8%

They would approximately need to stop all land traffic and wait an approximate 2 and a half years, and the gas price in the US would've gone up to 5 dollars a gallon at that point. not 50 or something 5 dollars. 12 in california.

yes, but not fully restoring shipping traffic to pre-war levels so that SPR keeps being depleted - a slow death for the US economy while Iran gets off relatively scot-free (should US not ramp up strikes)
thats why i fundamentally disagree with people who suggest that iran should completely close the strait, that would squander their established control and protocol
>>
>>538629896
I got a hunch that irans current strategy is to wait the 60 days out then impose a fee.
That would fit. They followed the letter of the JCPOA 2 years after the US broke it and only started to enrich once the US ordered the EU to break the JCPOA too.
>>
Police initiated a chase following a report of an armed female soldier of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) who was seen entering a vehicle with a Palestinian license plate. The vehicle was located and stopped near Beitar Illit, and the soldier was found to be unharmed. An investigation revealed that the individuals were a married couple. The soldier's weapon was confiscated, and she and the Palestinian driver were taken to the police station. The case has been transferred to the military police for further investigation.
>>
>>538629896
considering how many other sources we've brought online, and rationing in asia, 50% throughput isn't low enough to deplete the SPR
this is reflected in oil prices
>>
>>538629979
definitely, the charging of tolls after the initial 60 days will just be the icing on the cake and alleviate Iran's economy dramatically
it's around that time that war will definitely escalate though, the US empire simply cant accept such a new paradigm

religious zionist = west bank settler ben gvir types. they don't wear black, and they wear hand knitted kippas, like Matthew:

Anyway, Religious Zionist/settler terrorists, they serve in the IDF at sky high rates, and they serve in the combat roles where casualties/disabilities are sky high.

So in peace times they are allies with the Haredim, but this long war is really putting huge stress on their alliance:

MK Moshe Solomon (Religious Zionism) responded to the amendment of the Basic Law: Torah Study, after voting against it: "Torah study is the foundation of the state, but it cannot be used as a tool to prevent sanctions from those who do not serve [in the military]. My colleagues in the faction and the coalition attacked me, even publicly, and I remained steadfast in my position."

they are doing it all wrong, if I was malicious against the haredi I would install state torah tests

as pay off the haredi leader gets fat paychecks for sitting on the council initially but the standards are set by the political leadership and the appointments by charter

then over some decades you can retire the religious insiders and put state loyalist on the council then make the tests more
strict so haredi flunk the torah tests (proving they are frauds)

you get a controllable religious caste instead of the wild growth that threatens to devour the state

The ultra-orthodox folded - and the fundamental law of learning Torah will be declarative only

The chairman of the coalition, Ofir Katz, reached an agreement with the ultra-orthodox parties on a basic law: Torah study, in the framework of which section 2, which establishes balances of justice between the values, will be deleted from the bill. As part of other legislation, it was agreed that the law would include only the first and central section, which states that the study of the Torah is a fundamental value in the heritage of the Jewish people.

Were I president I would have just offered to drop ofac sanctions on Iran in exchange for giving up nuclear ambitions and then would have normalized relations. If Israel didn’t like it and tried to sabotage my efforts, I would have my just cause to end our relationship with them and make them a true pariah state.
Now instead we are faced with the end of the unipolar world and the precedent set by this toll charged by Iran will change global trade for a long time, until a new massive geopolitical shift happens. Trump is genuinely the worst president to ever represent this country, it’s honestly not even close. It’s baffling because his first term was really actually pretty decent. The Jews must have ramped up their epstein blackmail against him massively in this second term

there isn't a shortage because there's reduced consumption and alternate sources like north american shale and venezuela

It's over for America.

@HormuzLetter
BREAKING: Iran's IRGC announces it has destroyed the US command and control center for Western Asia and the US Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan with 10 ballistic missiles, per Tasnim.

The IRGC calls this the "second phase" of Iran's response to the US strikes.

Even from a pro-Iranian perspective you must admit that they are losing. Letting America always have the first strike and therefore letting them prepare for an Iranian retaliation in advance is such a massive advantage. These sort of attacks will continue every month or so because why wouldn't they when they already have a counter ready to Iran's 'retaliation'. As always, the Anglo-Saxon and the Ashkenazi Jewish combo dominate their enemies (realize how I didn't say Mizrahi because those are dumb sandniggers).

Graham platner was forced out of the race by the combined forces of both parties. This means a few things. First is that he was going to win the general. If he wasn’t a threat they wouldn’t have made such a fuss. Second is that Susan Collins is for sure a major unioarty figure. Both parties came out to protect her from this election. Third is that she is much more important than cornyn was. They tried the sane thing with Ken Paxton that they did with platner, but they ultimately let Paxton displace cornyn.

This is a preview of the midterms. Both parties are going to work together to keep kosher candidates in and block Israel critical voices.

>Restoring Venezuela's oil industry to its historic peak capacity of over 3 million barrels a day will take 10 or more years
we don't need to restore it to full capacity to make up some of the deficit.
add the other things I mentioned that have increased supply and reduced demand, and it's clear the world isn't actually missing 1/5 of its oil. various analysts put it closer to 5-10%, and due to the crack spread (limited refining capacity) oil can float at $70 and gas/diesel can float 20% above normal.
this is the simplest explanation. much more believable than thousands of chinese traders voluntarily playing along with scotty bessent instead of defecting and becoming trillionaires.

Kraut, if you are going to continue "debating" the shill, i think the main point should be that demand destruction isn't the same as changes in demand. The latter are the normal changes in consumption in response to price changes (that is behaviour that can be reprssented by a price-consumption curve), the former is a serious and long lasting ("permanent") reduction in consumption behaviour due to abrupt and long lasting price increases.

pic shows irgc fastboats struck by dumb bombs, wrong on all counts
>>
>>538634061
they can only cope bomb fishing boats because the IRGC speedboats are all underground in tunnels
>>
>>538634061
i guess iran doesnt need to strike back because getting bombed is actually le good!
>>
>>538634173
those are fishing boats you can discern the wreckage, maybe JDAM hit, maybe not
>>
>>538631044
I thought Qatar bent the knee to Iran previously? Why are they being niggers again?
>>
>>538634212
the fishing boats were all evacuated
these were fastboats preparing a retaliatory attack
>>
>>538634244
those are really small boats, i doubt it was a JDAM
>>
so trump is reinstating the blockade on friday after markets close, right? traffic in the strait is now near zero which will only piss trump off even more and the attacks on empty speedboats and coastal ports aren't perturbing iran.
>>
>>538634244
