I rented an apartment for a few years, started at $1700 a month for a brand new building/room, the next year they jacked it up to $1900, then $2150, then $2400. My pay increases weren't matching that along with everything else getting so expensive. I just called it quits there, what a waste of money. I stopped using the amenities because there were black families who would bring their entire families and friends over and hog them 24/7, the pool was like planet of the apes. Place started reeking of weed all day. I'd rather just save money at home. Not thrilled about it, but whatever.
