The flotilla members speicifcally met with said Cuban government and came back to make trendy vids indirectly supporting them.Whenever you start looking at the economics of the various systems you see what hyperbole nonsense it is.Just as a comparison, US state and federal expenditure is 38% of GDP, in Sweden it is 49%, China ~35 and Russia 37%.But if you also include mandatory costs like out of pocket kindergarten/school and health insurance (no other bs spending), the US climbs to 44.6% of GDP.So the US today is pretty much spending as if it was a Scandinavian country, and far more than the communists.The bigger question is where the fuck does all the money go?As far as I can tell, the entire political discourse is just a complete trick of diverting attention.
