>>538669938Liberal feel good policies. Prisons did have custody levels with 4 and 5 being for violent offenders, 3 somewhere in between and 1 and 2 basically adult retreats. The compulsive need to reform violent animals has made it so that violent offenders are "rehabilitated" by being given more freedoms and privileges on lower level yards. When I worked on a max custody unit we kept tossing them to the level 4 yard on "overrides". Which was basically recognizing their points being high enough that they warranted being locked in a max custody unit but they would "override" that and ignore it and just place them on level 4 yards. The level 4 guys would go to level 3 yards and so on. Violence went up but we were told to sweep that under too unless it was a "very serious assault" whatever the fuck that was. When I was doing OT on a level 3 yard I had to shove an inmate off of my face who walked up on me because he didn't wake up for chow and that was somehow my fault. They called it a training incident as to avoid giving him points. I quit the next day.

Just because one of the degenerates wasn't nabbed for violence doesn't mean he's not guilty of it, it means the prosecutor plead it down because he's too fucking lazy to take it to trial, or that that's what the cops found evidence of when they were arrested. All of them are violent. When they find some non-violent dipshit, they don't send them to prison... they milk them for fees and restitution and attorney bills. The "justice" system has incentives to keep those ones out of the klink.
