I don't get people like thisUS is more than capable of doing sporadic bombings for years if not decades. 2003 Iraq folded so fast because the no fly zone over it after 1990 limited any serious military built up and economic recovery after the war with the Gulf States sanctions. Iran is literally staring down the same path way if they can't force/bribe/agree one way of another for the US to stop its attacks and stabilize already weak economy before the war. Any continuing low level conflict would meant Iran can't fight back in any serious manner in the future if US decided to do an actual capital I Invasion.
