I still remember the monumental amount of asspain and seethe that Americans would exhibit if you joked about it. I remember Gilbert Gottfried was public enemy number 1 after he made a joke. You couldn’t mention it, to the point where any media that showed the towers at all was being censored because otherwise Americans would rip their hair out in frustration.I think it was when I first realised just how easily offended Americans truly are. They dish it out, but can’t take it. Still true to this day
