It seems like /pol/ is around 95-98% pro-Ukraine, and around 95% of the war content posted here is pro-Ukraine. But is that an accurate view of the war? I'm looking through Russian sources on Max/VK/Telegram/Ok.ru/etc., and there is a lot of video of targets in Ukraine being hit or destroyed by Russian forces. But this is never posted on /pol/. Why is that? This seems like a huge omission. For example, this is a compilation of dozens of targets getting hit around Dobropolye, a town near Kramatorsk:https://vkvideo.ru/video-213181913_456477934And there are many other recent videos/compilations from other areas. But I never see this stuff on /pol/. Why? It seems like an accurate view of the war would require an honest look at the material produced by both sides, and not just one. We didn't have this level of distortion in things like the old ISIS/Syrian war threads. Material from all sides was featured. That seemed better. Why is this war different? I don't 'support' either side. I find inaccurate or one-sided narratives annoying. I want objective analysis, not slated 'narratives.'

It's starting to swing the other way, I would speculate, because the tide is turning against russia, and many are figuring out that Ukraine, the underdog, actually has a chance to defeat the aggressor/occupier. It makes for a great story. Also, because, I would like to think, because of anons like myself, presenting the case for Ukraine in an effective way, and winning over people to the Ukrainian side.
