Is reading important ?
no, being cannon fodder is a good thing
>>538712009Reading the Classics yes.Reading Science Yes.Reading about Technology Yes.But none of novels.
I can't read, retard.
>>538712009only if you're learning how to make better toys.Society crap is drudgery. Money app would fix their shit handily.
Reading informative books like The Simple Path to Wealth? Yes. Reading bullshit candy books like Harry Potter? No.
>>538712009Yes, but "garbage in, garbage out" still applies.
>>538712009NooooooYoure too stupid to understandYou have to let the church interpret books for you
>>538712009Reading is important .. buy you need to temper that with writing about what you have read
If reading was bad, why would Ted Kaczynski's manifesto be so long? Really, though. Reading is good. Just make sure you read books made by good people, not whatever goyslop is being published nowadays. Even fiction is great, as long as it has good intentions.
>>538712438>Ted Kaczynski's manifesto be so long80% of his manifesto were just stolen ideas from Ellul books, ted was fraud and tranny
>>538712009AbsolutelyAlthough podcasts and videos are good ways to learn about stuff, they are still rather young mediums so they don't have enough coverage as books. Also books have a lot more content than a podcast or video series. I'd feel more confident that I was gaining a through understanding of something from a book than from a video or podcast series. Finally books have more effort put into them than podcasts or videos. The author collects more sources, seeks more opinions and publishes revised editions.Reading isn't obsolete.
>>538712495you can't steal philosophical concepts. The entire point of philosophy is to share ideas and reach a deeper truth in the universe through introspection. But that's kinda hard to do when the only "introspection" you do is sticking objects in you asshole.
>>538712009YeahAlso kill all Jews If you read you want dead jews
>>538712009Yes philosophy, pure and applied mathematics, Physics, Economics, etc. Should aim to be a learned man.
I used to read a lot, but don't anymore. If never read those books I wouldn't really be worse off. I guess because while they were interesting, no actionable knowledge came from it. Only books I've read which I actively use knowledge from are my software dev books. All political books/biology books/philosophy books I've read have done fundamentally nothing to improve my life. I'd say personal experiences have done more for me than anything.
>>538712263>You have to let the church interpret books for youbased
Yes, but most books are goyslop like most movies and YouTube videos. Take thevadvice of others and read informative books like king james Bible, Webster 1828 dictionary, a few classics, and a bunch of non fiction as needed to learn new skills and a few novels for enjoyment and culture. You can read everything important in a couple of years of your life reading a few minutes every day
