Why can’t the europoors afford this? Is this an unimaginable sum of money for them?
>>
Oh my god why would you ruin the wall like that
>>
>>538735608
>portable air conditioner
>mini-split unit permanently attached to the wall
what did they mean by this?
>>
>>538735815
Kek, that's every southeastern european countries BnB I've stayed at.
>>
>>538735608
Why would i want to put this junk on my wall just to use it three days a year?
>>
>>538735954
They make minisplits with heaters too, but we understand you're coping because you can't afford either one.
>>
>>538735608
>portable
That fucking thing is not portable, I promise you.

The same reason i wont buy lipstick, i dont need this shit. Sorry that you live in a shithole without normal temperature but its not my problem
>>
We still drive stick shift here, so that should answer your question
>>
>>538736001
Europeans have no problem with affording either.
They all have £1-4k heater/boiler combines, they just didn't need coolant till the last few years because they live(d) in temperate paradise on earth.

Idk why this is so hard to understand or why we need 10 threads an hour.
>>
>>538735608
They cost closer to £300 for a decent model that can do the dehumidifying, cooling AND heating, plus it's a complete faff of having to break it out for a handful of days per year, the electricity price keeps going higher because of factors out of our control (immigrants and war), the fact the stupid climatards are still seen as the pinnacle of science so the one AC I did purchase now belongs permanently to my grandparents to keep them alive for the sake of family. I mean I could just go ahead and shut the fuck up, buy one and be done with the misery.
>>
>>538736001We have radiators connected to the building's central heating system, or dedicated boilers for this purpose. Using electricity is not cost-effective.
>>
>>538735608
But heatwaves are based, it means all the old people are dying off.

Just open a window and stop complaining about the heat.
We didn't run India for 200 years by being pussies about hot weather. Just get a jamboy to fan you, retard.
>>
>>538735608
We use air source heat pumps like all modern civilizations.
>>
>>538736064
Weird innit, combination of the usual divide and conquer crap and Yanks embarrassed that that can't hold a real sporting competition and still get thrashed even when they get Trump to help them cheat. $139 is about £110 in real money, or 8 hours at minimum wage. I think all that shit in their food is poisoning their little brains.
>>
>>538736153
Bidets are discussing.

Filthy.
>>
>>538735608
That picture confuses and enrages me
>>
>>538735608
I payed like 8000 for my ac.
Had to get an ac tech though, since the lines were too long for the gas inside of the unit, so they had to put more in, and you can't buy the gas here unless you are certified.
>>
There was about 8 days past summer that AC was useful in my apartment
>>
>>538736085
My 90 year old mum uses a fan and keeps the curtains closed, but yeah why buy one when It's hot for 2-3 weeks a year. I guess the yank snowflakes melt too easily compared to actual real men.

You can always tell when a bri*ish faggot is feeling extra insecure when he starts spouting the lingo. As if saying 'yank' and 'innit' a bunch is going to make it seem like your culture hasn't been completely destroyed.
It's so fucking embarrassing. You and I both know you don't talk like that unless your flag is displayed and you feel insulted, lol. It's like if someone gets called a pussy and then they suddenly start issuing threats in ebonics, you're just fronting. Barking like a scared little dog.
>>
>>538735608
Because our homes aren't made out of cardboard, so we don't need it since our thermal insulation actually works.
>>
>>538736184
What filthy things are the bidets discussing do you think?
>>
Greece is poor as fuck but we have AC basically everywhere. Rich westoids have no excuse
>>
>>538736420
Cal down and keep cool saar
>>
>>538736345
I'm staying at my dads in the south this week while he's off on holiday (pets) and his house is obscenely hot because it's designed to absorb and hold heat for winter. The windows are all tiny crack openers and I can't open them because the pets might escape. It's kinda miserable.
I'm sitting outside right now comfortably nice and cool under a parasol, but the house is an oven still because I cant open all the windows at the same time.

Funnily enough, my moms council flat in the same area (now private rent) barely reaches 20 in this weather because it's actually well designed and has large openable windows for opening in the night, I love sleeping there.

My house in north wales has a sea breeze and the area didn't get above 32 even when everyone else got 38, so I stayed cool there, it really depends on the location and weather.

No Scot or even North wales people I know is considering AC, but southerners and Brummies are.

>>538736420
It's a class thing, nothing to do with levels of seethe.
>>538736472
Being in a shithole hot country you needed it tbqh.
>>
>>538736604
Brit in 2026 calling any other country a shithole lmao. You got a loicense for that unit mate?
>>
>>538736604
It's different from the usual summers we used to get.
>>
>>538735608
Why did you use a Facebook-tier fake AC scam for your shit thread?
>>
>>538735608

where does the hot air go?
>>
>>538736001
That makes even less sense. If its not portable and need to be connected to heat pump then it ruins walls even more

Thats some shit Ai. Portable acs look like this. They are actually really inefficient because it has to bring in new air then shoot out hot air causing twice the work but its great if for some reason you can’t install a window unit.

its 3000$ in eu.

thats because indians are envious of euros
and mutts live in a 3rd world shithole so they have to cope somehow

just buy whatever makes you comfortable why is this bullshit even a discussion
>>
>>538735896
AIslop ads are somehow a step down from the shitty photoshop ads made by 3rd worlders.

AI image. that's clearly wall-mounted and therefore not "portable". It's also not even a real device that exists

500 EUR here, in the hardware store, for a proper split AC
https://www.bauhaus.at/klimaanlagen/tcl-inverter-klimasplitgeraet-mit-quick-connector-tac-12chsdtpg11-qc/p/25822951
installation takes like 2 hours if you have the tools
>certification
who would check that? everyman here installs simply
if you are not a handyman get a portable one and seal the window properly, works good enough aswell
costs like 50$ in electricity for the whole summer

>forbidden for renters due to breaking the wall
get a portable one then

we have only so many really hot days here
basically a non-issue
most parts of USA are more southern than europe so in the US it is hotter
>>
Not allowed, we have CO2 gestapo, they come inspect your home for how CO2 neutral it is, if they find AC you get bad goy points and you get punished
>>
>>538736025
Anon anything is portable, if you have no intention of moving it. Kek.
>>
>>538739866
It exists but you have to make a hole in the wall to vent to the outside. That's where you run into problems of planning consent. Listed Buildings, conservation areas, nuisance to the neighbours from the noise of the fan...it's more trouble than it's worth. Add to that the UK's insane net zero goals and you probably can't instal one anyway.
>>
they can't install ACs because their 500 year old homes weren't built for it and their commieblocks will fall apart if you install HVAC
>>
>>538735608
I don't get this meme, me and almost everyone i know has AC, and we are eastern block poorfags.

he likely fell for a overpricing craftman. we have these here too, charging 5000 EUR for a 500EUR thing + work for 50EUR

so all USAnons:
"europe no AC" is basically a meme

every normal person with a house just installs a normal AC and powers it free with solarpanels (we have higher electricity costs than USA because idiot government)

beside that:

we have the leftist-ecohystericals who think AC creates co2 and co2 is evil and kills everyone (though plants love it)
we have the lazys (like the fox with the sour grapes) who are just too lazy to get one and read the manual
and we have the stupid who let themlself be stopped by buerocracy nstead of just getting a portable unit which underlies no buerocracy

we have one but rarely turn it on

once it goes hotter than 82F (28C) i just turn it on (or it rather turns on itself) because thats simply the point where i sweat even when sitting in front of the PC

also i dont want the kids or wife to sweat and suffer for no purpose. again, its like 50$ i pay in total for extra cost in summer for AC. a small price for a whole family not suffering

>>538741236
considering the greek climate i would not want to be without there!

>>

Oh great the YT ads scam that are seen like the auto focussing specs, the high pressure water hose that runs without electricity - but is just a normal cheap hose attachment. Really amazing how YT etc are allowed to run shit Ads like that

>>538735608

What was wrong with putting an Air Conditioner in the Window, and duct taping the cracks to blockade insect travel?

>Let's cut a hole in our wall THEN install an AC.

Sounds silly.

if you intend to have an AC then why look for temporary solutions instead of doing it properly? This is the sort of shit Canadians do, just some shitty solution - as long as it works sort of then it's good enough. That attitude spreads to everything, the houses are built shoddy, the vehicles have dodgy brakes, steering etc - they work tho until they don't. The thing about AC's is that it simply does not get hot for long enough periods for people to think about AC yet. But if people want AC they will have it done correctly, not some cheap ass AC balanced on a window sill with 10 packs of gaffa tape trying to seal the window opening
>>
>>538742376
yeh they are shitty swamp coolers which have cardboard fins. Shitty chink junk sold via YT ads and available on Amazon etc
>>
>>538742793
for me its if the thing breaks i throw it away and get a new one, done. its faster to fix. no need to refill coolant. for many its a buerocratic thing, installing a fixed ac with a hole in the wall can get you evicted here if you are a renter because stupid laws.
also he who relocates often is at an advantage if he just takes the AC with him

>split is more efficient
if you have solarpenales you dont care about energy consumption

>>538742641
felt like that when i was on vacation in greece. great country wonderful people but the heat is like straight out of hell
