You can't make fertilizer with solar panels.
Back to bird poop.
>>538808171Manure.Also plenty of oil left.
We mulch the jews down into a fine paste to run our machines with their silvery blood
>>538807820You dont need the superfluous farming system we have now, aside from the massive amount of waste that it produces using fertilisers is one of the reasons food is less nutritious as it allows the plant to grow but the micro nutrient profile of the soil has been drained from constant use and that affects the overall profile of the grown crop
>>538807820THE SOIL WILL BE ENRICHED BY THE BLOOD OF THOSE WINGED DEMONS
>>538807820When oil runs out, we will boil you alive with the rest of the trannies, skim the fat off the top, and then use it to fuel my car.
>>538807820Nations will start burning gas and coil... until they're over too. Uranium and thorium won't be enough for long either. There's no way out of this ride.
>>538808214>Also plenty of oil left.Yeah, like 15 years unless China, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia get nuked to extinction today.
>>538807820>You can't make fertilizer with solar panels....you literally can, though.the us navy has a technique to convert sea water into oil that uses electricity.
Not my problem, US produces enough oil for it's own needs, let the rest of the world figure it out on their own.
>>538809377You said that in 2000 too
>>538807820EVERYONE STAAAAARRRRVESSSTHE POPULATION IS SEVERAL TIMES WHAT THE PLANET CAN SUPPORT WITHOUT HABER-BOSCHWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>538807820She looks fun
>>538809492The arabs lied. Oil is almost over, and you can't use Venezuelan oil either.
>>538809671actually we not only can, our refineries were designed for it since we bought most of our oil from them before they became commies. We could refine domestic light sweet crude but its cheaper to swap it for heavier grades than it is to build new refineries here.
>>538809796That will only buy you 10 more years, then it will become more difficult to extract and refine. You're in a better position than Europe for sure.
>>538807820>>538808171>>538808214>having a diverse energy economy
>>538807820lubricants get way more expensive>fertilizerThat's made from gas.
I'm more interested in how everyone will react to plastics slowly becoming a luxury good
>>538813167And who has gas? Russia. That's a bit problematic.
>>538807820>You can't make fertilizer from solar panels.Sure you can!https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birkeland%E2%80%93Eyde_processPhosphates are still an issue, but that doesn't come from oil.>>538809465That's retarded, where does the carbon come from in that process?
>>538813468The same way they did before the early 90s when it was also a luxury good. Plastic back then was built like a tank because it was expensive and people expected quality because of it. TVs are gonna go back to being high quality items that last a generation first because theyve peaked. The human eye cant perceive anything better than 4k, you can make better ones but theres no point. Would it really be a problem if you dont have to replace your TV for 50 years? same goes for most boring appliances made of plastic that you dont think about. The declining birthrates are gonna make manufactured goods more expensive with or without oil anyway since without 8 billion people you cant maintain the economy of scale to make $200 flatscreens and $29 dvd players and you wouldnt need it anyway. We will end up in a world similar to boomer times where real estate is cheap but stuff is expensive as fuck.
>>538813474Gas is pretty common overall; the problem is its transport. Pipeline works best, but has some obvious constraints, and while LNG can come from anywhere it is was more expensive.
>2 more decades
>>538813490>That's retarded, where does the carbon come from in that process?...co2.
>>538814214>We will end up in a world similar to boomer times where real estate is cheap but stuff is expensive as fuck.
>>538812712We use oil for more than just rotating turbines dipshit.
>>538813490You may not be aware of this, but Earth's oceans are currently suffering from an excess of carbonic acid. That 'ocean acidity' thats killing the coral reefs? Literally carbon.
>>538807820Oil isn't running out. Problem solved. Plus, its gas they use, not oil
