It's not. Ironically (and poetically) the Falklands geographically looks a lot like Britain. It's like an extension of Dartmoor. It's beautiful in a bleak, British type of way. It's wet, cold and miserable. I genuinely can't think of a worse place to fight British infantry, it's identical to everywhere we train in the UK (minus the trees). On top of that, the people consider themselves British.
