no beautiful white-majority scenery shall remain unspoiled. every state park and forest service road will be overrun with invaders, and we will do nothing ;-)

Once I begin to pretend to be a retard and collect my VA benefits I'll probably get a setup there

Nigger infested shithole. Do not go there.

thank you for providing the space to honor the Huron and Algonquian tribes whom were definitely the first humans to explore the area.

I live in the UP, what do you want to know?

I used to do yoga and there was ONE jewish yoga instructor and she always did land acknowledgments at the beginning of her classes and a pronoun introduction for herself.

Any little lesser known things that visitors might miss but should see esp. curious about the region near Ironwood.

I'm so excited for the food. In my imagination its endless pasties and fried fish sandwiches everywhere. Usually where i go it's abysmal goyslop I just feel it has to be better and maybe there's even real German food which I like.

>>538850366
it is a bit of a problem

If you're on the coast, search for nearby lighthouses. We have many and they are cool. Big Spring is beautiful. Ironwood is pretty, but not particularly remarkable.
>>538850366
I'd guess below the national average BMI, but there are still plenty of fat people.
>>538850463
Don't get too excited, 90% of restaurants are the same Sysco garbage you'll find anywhere. Look for supper clubs and be prepared to spend a bit of money. Good pasties exist, but most are not good.
>>

I could not afford to stay on the coast so I am staying inland and will be driving out to the coast I guess for sightseeing daily.
>Don't get too excited, 90% of restaurants are the same Sysco garbage you'll find anywhere
Oh I'm used to it. Sometimes you find nice stuff. but not always. My last trip I stopped in Morgantown WV for breakfast and lunch to go and the huevos rancheros for breakfast were ok but it was just like mayo or something on top of a stale corn tortilla no salsa/ranchero sauce tho the breakfast potatoes were clearly NOT sysco slop and I would get those again
then I went to a place they had pierogis that were homemade but tiny and just ok in flavor, and pulled pork tacos and the corn tacos were AMAZING so flavorful what should have come with the huevos rancheros but the pulled pork was standard sysco

I don't think I can afford a supper club!
Where do I get good pasties?

>We have many and they are cool.
Can you go inside and upstairs?

> Ironwood is pretty, but not particularly remarkable.
I mean the coast nearby. I saw that one overlook @ Porcupine mtn thought maybe there's stuff to see nearby.
>>
>>538851247
Lol I have actually been through Morgantown. It's a big crater pretending to be a town
No clue where to find good pasties around Ironwood, I'm more familiar with eastern UP
Some lighthouses are open for tours
>>
>>538851590
there was just no lodging at all for eastern UP (for under 200 a night) but a ton of stuff available if you were willing to cross into canada

If you truly want to know about the UP, Alexis Dahl is a good source of information presented in a comfy manner. She has dozens of videos about life there and history of it. Pic related is a giant billion year old wall from one of her videos.

Where Freemasons gather and you can find out yourself since they leave clues
>>
My ex's dad was a copper harbor fishermen. He's an old fag. Keweenaw is based but it's REMOTE and there's no good jobs. The UP is a terrible place to live long term, Anon. I live near the Apostle Islands in WI and it's RUFF out here mang we got hella natives and there's very few decent jobs. Land is cheap asf tho so there's that but what good is cheap land without a job???
