I was in West Virginia, almost the poorest state in the USA, and I saw one of those unattended honor system shop stands they have in Switzerland. I wonder what the common factor is...
>>538851099>I wonder what the common factor is...Mountain people are different.
Over in Switzerland, everyone’s pretty well-off and they’ve got a great social safety net, so there’s no reason for anyone to resort to stealing
>>538851268And in West Virginia...?
>>538851099i think it must just be some kind of magical field that permeates an areasome areas are good, which gives the people who live there an advantagehistorically, whites have made marginalized people of brown and blackness and indigenous 2spirit+ ppl live in the bad areasit's kind of like how it's your soul that has a gender, not the body
They have those in New York state a lot too (the appalachia-y part). Some of them are somewhat threatening "we have cameras and are watching you don't steal"NY state is definitely the best payout of farm stands - but PA has lots of nice ones too you just will be dealing with the amish/mennonites/whatever who run them. >>538851288the mines and the logging companies stole everyone's money and the people blamed the government instead
Many places in California have them too. They aren't that rare.
>>538851288It's likely because it's out in the countryside and everyone knows each other. They might be poor on paper, but they're asset rich
Those are even in croatia
When your town has 50 people, it's pretty easy to figure out who stole.
>>538851666This. And with a population that small, stealing is like stealing from you own family.
>>538851099Why didn't you take a picture of it with the camera in the phone you have on you at all times?Surely a burgermutt wouldn't LIE on the INTERNET???
>>538851099This is common in Vermont too. Eggs and tomatoes are most likely to be sold in this way.
>>538851099They have them here too, in rural northern CA. Hmmmm...
>>538851817Rent free, retard. You don't know fuck all about the world you read about.A man who reads everything.
>>538851268Do niggers not have welfare?
>>538851440>They might be poor on paperWe are, but my family owns 853 acres as an example of wealth. Land that is good for farming to top it off. Lack of many industries keeps yuppies, niggers, and other nons away.
>>538851099>I wonder what the common factor is...No shitskins, high trust community where everyone knows everyone.
>>538851440>asset richLol no. I've been to WV many times. It's a bunch of able bodied working age men and women sitting around in shitty trailers and tiny houses waiting for the next gibs check to roll in so they can head to the 7-11 and buy a 24 case of Miller Light etc. They're poor as fuck.>>538851179Mountain folk are the best and toughest people world wide. Switzerland, Afghanistan, West Virginia - and the whole South Central Highland area of Asia that is basically lawless and holds over 150 million people.Drive your gay ass car back down to the valley before you get yourself hurt city boys.
>faggots>opinionated>pilpulThat's the remains of the actual retards we do not give a fuck about.
I love my area of Appalachia. I bought 10 acres with a 2,000 sq foot house at a very reasonable price. My property is in an area that is mostly national forest and for that reason is very lightly populated. A 200 acre state wildlife sanctuary borders my western property line. Appalachia has a moderate climate, lush vegetation, abundant sunshine and rainfall. We have strong storms that bring heavy rain that quickly pass leading to sunny days. These strong passing storms provide us ample rain while allowing a high percentage of sun during the day. Portions of Appalachia are designated as temperate rain forest.Appalachia has a tremendous amount of freshwater streams and rivers enabling an abundance of fish and wildlife, including large game such as white tail deer, feral pigs and black bears.Appalachia also has a rugged, independent, even rebellious population. Appalachia's rugged terrain, moderate climate, abundant fresh water and game make it a perfect area for the guerrilla war fighter. There are many reasons that US Army Green Berets and Rangers retire to Appalachia. It is a place that calls people steeped in guerrilla warfare home.Picrel is my horse grazing in a sunlit pasture next to an Appalachian mountain lake 900 feet from his barn.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vrEljMfXYo
