Claude Code AI was supposed to kill all coding jobs but it did the opposite

There are more job openjings than ever before but everyone who wants to code need to be running Claude Code, it needs a human supervisor because AI cant function alone

https://www.hiringlab.org/2026/07/08/ai-and-job-postings-from-destruction-to-creation/

>all jobs in category of all jobs increase 7% in 2026
>however especially coding jobs have increased more than that, its 14%

the jobs are for seniors, you need 5 year programming experience to apply
>>
AI sucks at maintaining context so it needs a human overseer
>>
AI will replace normalfags though. It's made the normalfag egregore obsolete.

>Claude Code AI was supposed to kill all coding jobs but it did the opposite
The recession should have killed all jobs, but here we are, coding 5x or 10x the available manpower, with the same headcount, being more productive for the yehudim, but the job safety, even at these levels, won't last long. You must be 100x with AI, or get rekt.

AI is destroying coding because juniors won't be able to become seniors and so a few decades down the line people that actually know how to code will be in short supply.

Only for Silicon valley, sure. Cause muh remote work is communism. Lack of job won't be a problem cause they're building drone target softwares and mapping where all the goys live and what they are.

You should understand the abstract idea behind programming and what it is on a fundemental level. That's why theoretical computer science chads will win. They can easily learn the syntax of a language and good coding practices but just a coder will never understand the abstract, theoretical stuff.

> needs a human supervisor because AI cant function alone
You mean it needs to be trained by humans to make corrections so it won’t need humans anymore?
>>

Shame you won’t be hired if you are of European decent.

Yes because juniors are too fucking stupid to know what to even ask for. You should see the way new grads use AI, it's fucking embarrassing: the problem is that school has actually turned them into turbo retards because they could just hand the entire assignment to chatgpt and get back a functioning, fully working assignment.

The real world doesn't work that way, and even though they're allowed to use AI at work, the way they use it is literally just
>Hey Claude fix this for me
>Claude has no fucking context, 0 understanding of anything, spins it's wheels and goes on a wild goose chase
>It comes back with a "solution" after burning a trillion tokens and it still doesnt work

Meanwhile, seniors who have been coding for years are like
>Claude, there's a bug in this area and I'm pretty sure it's in how the database is storing values blah blah blah write a script to verify this and if it's true modify the same script to update those values and update the db
>Claude works for like 10 minutes and spends 50k tokens and it works

The issue is that it's easier than ever to skip actual learning in school with LLMs because the entire spec of what needs to be done is given in full in every assignment. New hires are worse than ever. The shit that I've seen from noobies in the last year makes my blood absolutely boil.

NIKKE is Rated 15 game honey. Danm those Romanians took all your gaming PC?

>>538851983
Maybe this?

>>538851953
This is huge too. Retards have always been bad with theory, again, LLMs have only made this worse.

We're at the point where only the most dedicated and autistic CS fags are going to flourish, and I'm honestly fucking happy about it.

increase in job listings, not jobs. if i could he arsed id post the pic of the plane with red dots. theres more listing because the workforce is being replaced and it's nowhere near 1:1
>>538851953
what are you still in highschool? academics are fucking dreadful software engineers. you cant science and logic your way to being a good developer, it takes years of experience and refinement. if you want academics to write your code you may as well have claude and his jeet assistant do it.
>>538851781
cope
>>538851799
right because hr karens are so good at hiring genuine talent over normies to join their personal "work family"
>>
>>538851717
> you dont hire/train juniors anymore
> you want seniors only
> the supply is limited
> you cry about labor shortage
> you import more foreigners
> you have a worse product because the foreigner has no idea about the local work culture and lied about his credentials
also corps trusting the ((AI)) with their codebase is retarded they need new training data getting access to proprietary software is their dream.
>>
>>538852346
The only reason academics don't get into a software engineering role is because it's monotonous and boring. If they wanted to, they can easily transition into the industry and make millions.

>you cant science and logic your way to being a good developer
At a fundemental level, every job is just following an algorithm and that applies to being a developer too. There is no one in this world who understands algorithm better than theoretical computer scientists.
You think a developer comes up with the rules of good coding practices and design by themselves on the fly?
>>
>>538852261
Formal merhods are back too because AI makes it easy to generate code from a formal modal. All those type theorists will be making bank
>>
Everything you do with AI is being used as training data to replace you with the next iteration. Even in the meantime it destroys vastly more jobs in other areas than it temporarily adds in coding and as >>538852081 points out, these new jobs are for jeets and some token black dei hires.
>>
>>538852081
>niggers chimp out, burn, loot and murder
>get hired more
corporate america is awful. what the fuck. how can someone look at this and not think "we need a dictator" and just be happy with winning the last election and "owning the libs" kek

all european and genetically european countries need fascist dictators in order to be saved
>>
>>538852566
you havent a clue m8. a good developer isnt one that can intuitively write "muh algorithms." shit, in modern development thats unfortunately considered a massive waste of time; reinventing the wheel. its about structure, good practice, design, communication. these things take practice, no matter how big their brain is. maybe theyll have an edge but it will still take years and theyd have to overcome their ego, which in my experience they seldom do and bounce around jobs on their phd. development isnt science, its engineering. all professors write are spaghetti-code monoliths, totally inappropriate for professional software development and teamwork in general.
>everything is algorithms!!1!
holy cringe thats naive. i know exactly where youre coming from, believe me. wait until you actually finish college and join the workforce and youll unlearn this very quickly.
no they dont come up with the rules on the fly, they learn them and practice them over many years, as is necessary. you will hear the phrase "standing on the shoulders of giants" a lot. in the mean time enjoy larping an elitist academic, cause unless you can actually hack the phd (which btw takes a lot more will than it does intelligence) you will end up just another disillusioned wagey.
>they dont do it cause its monotonous and boring
if its so boring for them, how the fuck are they gonna dominate the market? even if they did jump ship into development youre gonna end up with a unmotivated, depressed, disfunctional workforce that will underperform compared to uneducated apprentices. its just not realistic.

>>538851717
>the jobs are for seniors
Where do they draw the line? 50 years old? 60? 70?
>>
>>538852821
It's not going to destroy jobs, because most jobs take more common sense than people realize. AI has zero common sense and zero real reasoning, so can't do most jobs. Even a receptionist or cashier needs common sense. This is inherent to the way the technology works and they can't fix it by improving on it.

AI can take the most jobs in programming because programming is prime for it, unfortunately. Think about it. At the end of the day, programming means turning requirements into code that does what the design says, this is unfortunately perfect for AI. It can also be easily redone if it doesn't work properly. Both of these circumstances make it so it can easily be slopified. Other jobs are not like this.

I think right now AI is "creating more programming jobs" (its probably a coincidence), but people's opinion on AI taking coding jobs has changed like this:
>it can't do shit
>it can only do leetcode type problems
>its only an autocomplete
>it makes lots of mistakes
>it still needs to be supervised
Its obvious what will happen in a decade.
