Reminds me of Mark Cuban saying it's embarrassing his employees are using food stamps. Literally a billionaire and owner of his businesses.

>>538872448
Not an actual argument lefty child.
Tell us what happens to the number of minimum wage jobs when you raise the rate?
Shall we look at the historical data?
>>
>>538872100
Why don't you start a business and pay decent wages? You'll have your pick of the best qualified workers and employee morale will be great. You'd easily be able to pay back whatever debt you take on when starting the business. Plus you'll be doing something good for the working man while making a decent profit for yourself.

That cartoon is very antisemitic

It’s how most companies start, at least the ones that make it to mid size. At that point you either stay a mid size local darling or get into financialization and become like every other large company. Restaurants are a different beast entirely since in the US their largest operating cost is subsidized by the customer.

So all those times the minimum wage was raised in the past and had very little direct impact on inflation or jobs, those historical facts don't matter? What planet are you from?

The boss is the one who made him come so he can have someone who accept to work for half a cookie. The boss don't care which one have it, he just want his half a cookie more so he created a surplus of labor.

The problem is that small business owners get fucked around, who are the loudest against the minimum wage increase btw. McDonalds can take that hit, small business can't. Im going to mainly focus on the food industry or small stores vs walmart.

"Hurr, just only have mcdonald's pay for it!"
1. Micky Deez Nutz is franchisee owned, not corporate owned, so you'd have to come up with laws that target these businesses of less than 30 employees and not have McDonald's flip around models. And you're wrong btw, when healthcare became a requirement, they cut hours. Most places in my city do not give you full time hours. Zero benefits.

2. Lets say you adjust the laws, only McDonalds pays idk, 20 bucks an hour while the small business owner only has to pay 15, guess where everyone works unless there's a job shortage in the cheap-labor market.

The solution, IMO, is taxing based on AI usage and funneling money as subsidies to small businesses who can then use that money to raise wages, improve benefits, or make their places more attractive to work at despite paying less. (less stress on the job with more people working).

But thats heckin socialism (as a small business owner explained to me) so fuck it, let everything burn to the ground.

Because your prices will be higher than the guys whos workers are on welfare
The customer has no way to include the welfare in the decision
Your prices will also be higher than goods made by Chinese slaves
>>
>>538872100
what if the guy with the sensible demand of raising the minimumw age just kicks the screaming guy on the pile of greed with a long range power projection tool and just distributes the pile of greed among the inhabitants of sherwood forest and gives everyone a raise ?
how is funnelling away a pile of greed from the economy a vital part of the economy ?
>>
>>538873148
why would i start a business that just continues this dogshit cycle? *you* make a profit but pay dogshit wages by doing so. if the business even succeeds anyways - we all know most don't.
>>
>>538874317
Forgot to mention this because I have had this argument in person before a bunch, but AI would be automation as well. That self checkout kiosk at walmart or mcdonalds? You gotta pay standard tax + vacation pay + unrealized wages + medical benefit pay on that to the grant. It will still work longer, harder, and without interruption, you can adjust the levers as need be and base the subsidies on how many businesses are operating in an area. So the more bigger businesses doing this, the more potenital grant money that will be given in a limited capacity based on a que relative to small business sizes. Will have to deal with corpos trying to run small businesses as a front and gumming up the que, so it would have to be enforced, part of what the grant money will pay for, regulating this.

Smal businesses just have their employees, they don't use nearly as much automation. They can do whatever they want (ideally, compete, raise their own wages, increase benefits) with the grant money.

It really did become r/The_Donald from 2015 onwards.
>>

>most don't.
correct, but to the parasite, the "faulty business concept operator" it doesnt matter, they do it anyways as long as they can sift the money and get off unharmed
example: retail stores, buy cheap sell high, fixed on location, pays lower than minimum to occupational newfags to keep the store tidy and operate the checkout while wasting their lifetime to "gain on the job experience in retail", all of a sudden inflox of customers stops for reasons, stonger competition, economic depression etc, lays off liabilities (workers) goes into foreclosure, gets to keep private earnings, company liable with bare minimum, workers are fucked. this is a legal and state supported "legal entity" business model
it invites exploitation of the performing worker
the reason is because it "drives" the economy
(i.e. without these legal protections of exploitation allegedly nobody would start a business if there was too little reward for the risk, same argumentation btw how they say we have to pay politicians a lot of money because otherwise nobody would be doing it and also be totally susceptible to bribes and undemocratic influence)
hypocrites
fucking hypocrites
the downfall greedy fucking liars
>>
>>538874765
facts
but what atre the implications of this to the system
does the economy heal in that very moment or do you become the burden by taking the cursed things into your posession ? distributing the curse does make it better for everyone ? lift the burden, distribute the load, nobody cares because they were a tyrant and everyone suffered because of them, so much they wont eben be mentioned in history books, complete total forgetting of the existence of that oppressor or oppressors
>>
>>538875158
worse. at least ledditors knew their place. but ledditor miggers mass immigrating and replacing 4ch culture with their own will never not be the height of irony
>>
>>538874765

Bottom 99% of population = 8.1B × 0.99 ≈ 8.02 billion people
Wealth to distribute = 0.99 × $453T ≈ $448.5 trillion
Per person = $448.5T ÷ 8.02B ≈ $56,000 USD
(Per person includes everyone, even the Sentinelese)

Economies exist to serve man. In the current post-capitalist era, man is now expected to serve the economy. This is slavery, and as such men will always strive to overthrow the yokes of tyrants.
>>
Reagan and Thatcher mindraped conservatives permanently into thinking supply-side economics worked for everyone and not just the upper echelons of society despite productivity and wages being completely decoupled ages ago. They still believe it, and nothing can convince them otherwise (except Trump of course, but he’s on board).

This. There's actually no point whatsoever to raise wages, you have to stop what is increasing the base cost of merely living and to do so means giving congress limits on their spending, including emergency appropriations. This has to be done at the federal level and federal government can then police the states through those appropriations, it will then fall to states naturally to curb their own spending. There will be pain in that process, there will be dropped conveniences and helpful programs but if that means people can live comfortably in the long-run I say it's worth it. Leftists can't think beyond the moment except where the climate is involved and don't want to live with inconvenience, they're gonna have to learn.

I love how these retards' rebuttal to raising minimum wage is to call them emotional retards who just want more for free, and their evidence for such is to be emotional retards themselves.

Even though the guy you're replying to is actually right about minimum wages needing to rise, neither of you actually post some actual data, ever. Here you go https://www.epi.org/blog/most-minimum-wage-studies-have-found-little-or-no-job-loss/
>>
>>538876923
The guy I replied to says it starts a downward spiral to collapse and it does, objectively because you're actively devaluing your fiat. Sorry, I consume and compare data all the time for my own sake, I don't make any big effort to disseminate it. Your source is severely biased and goes the extra mile to obfuscate data from what I'm seeing due to how it is more "worldview" versus country-by-country, it's not making much effort to differentiate between types of governance or workforce cultures and instead adopts an average between all of the collective west. That's not to say there aren't studies contained deep within that DO single out the United States but unless I were to track down and nitpick each individual study for objectivity, I won't even know if they weren't sponsored propaganda studies to market manipulate. Most of the time these articles are clickbait and they hope to overwhelm the casual reader, since most people won't take the time to dig down to the nitty gritty or find out how a study came to publish in the first place.

tl;dr- You're full of shit and outsource your thinking to people who have a vested interest in manipulating you one way or another.

Casinos are the BEST at redistributing wealth.
even better than communism.

>>538873148
Because there are regulatory baries and up front costs mandatedby the state to prevent that. Banks are also allowed to print money and I am not allowed to open a bank.

>>538879262
If you allow niggers or gypsies to take rotschild money you will have trickle down on strippers casinos jachts etc.

Super rich now are all cheap jews that never really spend much. Capitalism would probably work better if coorporations and stock market was made ilegal. Protestantism also.

>we need to pay the people doing the bare minimum more
we need to pay the people doing actual needed jobs more. adults making minimum wage stole their jobs from teenagers.
>>
>>538879886
Most minimum wage jobs are actualy useful compared to middle class jobs that are largely bulshit jobs created by bureaucracy for bureaucracy
>>
>>538872264
That is the intention, you still don't get it ?

This is why /pol/ is dogshit
anyone can say whatever and there’s no way to confirm unless you go to google and search
It’s so inconvenient, so dumb

This is why X replaced /pol/ and why 4chan is dying. It’s basically a hang out board with the same people over and over and over again.
