I have a boomer uncle who was ALWAYS critical of Jews and Israel (not a drunk uncle that no one pays attention to, either, he's a former psych professor and a history buff)...but recently, he's been starting to say that what they tell us about the Holocaust MIGHT be exaggerated...I also have a friend who until just a few weeks ago was a fervent supporter of Israel because he thought Islamic terrorists were worse, but just a week after saying he was done defending Israel, he already started saying that Jews own the media.

At about the same time, American evangelists (and televangelists) started pushing the idea that Jesus won't/can't return unless some other prophecies occur first.
