Some parts of Mexico are insane.One cartel killed a bunch of guys on sight for talking to each other outside a store, because the cartel had mandated "no public gatherings", out of fear of a rebellion. Those guys didn't intend to do a public gathering, they were just strangers purchasing from some store and were just talking.On some small towns they'll burn you alive if you show up and they don't know you.Everyone fears the cartels there, as the cartels are ruthless. The pro crime government, by being soft and forgiving to the cartels, is also being cruel and ruthless to the people. Just like the useless, non dictator governments of El Salvador before Bukele.Some other parts of Mexico are very nice, and just like the first world but without the decline and boomer related problems we have, like housing, inflation etc
