Are Germans going to save the planet with their hydrogen fuel cells
>>
Only way to save the planet is with hydrogen fuel bombs... over israel, hundreds of them...
>>
>>538919339
Germany is going to do the usual - destroy europe
>>
germoids will save the planet by getting rid of any incentive to live therefore suppressing birth rates to nothing and therefore slowing humans infecting the planet with their greed. god damn ted kaczynski was fucking right, he was right.

Does anyone else remember the headlines about the "German solar miracle" around 15 years ago?
>>
>>538919339
No because they have to burn coal to produce the hydrogen sine they got rid of all their nuclear power plants. The original plan was always to use nuclear to produce hydrogen but then the greens ruined everything.

No, because jews won't allow it.

Could it be related to the Iranian mothership?

nah, they start ww3 when we refuse to pay back SAFE they pushed on us

We already did by splitting the atom.

Look up magnesium hydrid. You squeeze hydrogen into magnesium at 250°C on which it forms a toothpaste like substance. It's storable indefinitely below that temperature and completely save as long as it doesn't touch water. Net energy density is the same as gasoline. Effective energy input to output ratio is ~8:1 meaning 8 KWh in gives you 1 KWh at the outlet. This makes it economically viable at an electricity price of under 2 Cents, which is possible at at huge nuclear or hydro plants, which there are plenty of (including untapped capacities in remote locations).

It could have been the solution...

lmao no

it's germany, so even if the technology was mature and profitable, some foidbrained politician would regulate it to death anyway
>>
>>538920208
How do you squeeze it into an engine?
>>
>>538919339
Renewable energy is a commie liberal conspiracy or something
>>
>>538922084
you wouldnt
hes just comparing the energy density with something everyone is familiar with
the latter part is the important part
>This makes it economically viable at an electricity price of under 2 Cents, which is possible at at huge nuclear or hydro plants
germany cucked itself (energy-wise, at least) into oblivion by b&ing nuke power back in the 80s. as a result, krauts pay too much to buy energy from french nuke plants for their own grid. this is also the scenario that lead to unironic gazprom stooges like merkel to coming to power
>>
>>538920683
We're sorry! I promise you we have learned our lesson! :(
>>
>>538922084

You heat it up to 250°C again, retard.

No objection.

> krauts pay too much to buy energy from french nuke plants for their own grid

The refuelling can happen everywhere on the planet. South America, Africa and Russia have insane reserve capacities. Only problem is logicstics and Magnesium hydrid would solve this problem.
>>
No, because hydrogen is idiotic compared to batteries. Absolutely mogged in overall generation-to-motor efficiency. Not even close.
>>
Lol the race is between sodium and lithium ion, germany is running a dog in a horse race

>sail to South America
>make a compound that makes explosive gas when exposed to water
>load it onto boat
>sail back across half the world
>all because they have cheaper electricity over there
That's the most German solution to the problem I've seen so far. And it's probably less efficient than just loading up a boat with li-ion batteries or, you know, building a normal fucking energy storage unit to capture all the cheap energy coming from renewables that we make locally.
>>
>>538920208
You can never know that this one thing or that one thing is THE solution because there are many things no one person can know. Only the free market via price signals can give you the relevant information qhich already is outdated from one moment to the next.

Implementing a given technology as the standard for a given territory requires extreme protectionism, control over imports in order to reject competing technologies and pumping out a lot of prideful propaganda about autarky.

Pfffffff, no, current Germany is physically unable to manifest any of this unless it purges itself first
>>
>>538923491
You mexicans really like purging

Read & think before you post.

The concept was developed in the 1990s and is built into the 212A u-boat, which is in service since 1998. This means, the construction is as rugged as it can get. On the other hand solid state batteries have only reached break-even to other storage technologies last year.

Had they pursued this systematically also for the civilian economy from the early 2000s onwards and simply dug away one of the most suitable magnesium mountains (there's a lot of them and it's not really expensive to upcycle the material), the entire energy storage and logistics problem would be solved by now. Not only for Germany, but more or less globally.

It's perhaps the reason why it wasn't done: They wanted to provoke the problems we have right now in the world. It's all by design.

we had this thread a couple of hours ago hydrogen is a meme
even hydrogen bombs have switched to lithium
even the sun is going to switch to helium
and when it does, the oceans will boil
I hate hydrogen so much, I wish all the hydrogen on earth would be burned

Why do you care, you Spicniard from Spic Prime (Spain)? You are not even white. You are just as much of a spic as the brownest mexican from the depths of fucking Oaxaca.
You spic spanish. You can not pronounce English nor German. You say spic instead of speak.
You eat lunch at 3 pm and dinner at 10 pm
You are corrupt, loud, noisy, do fiestas and you are a nigger that functions in the heat. You are brown

Fucking SPIC from SPIC PRIME (SPAIN)

What makes spics be spics and not just amazonian jungle bunnies is the ASSpaniard in them. You subhuman spic
