Today it's going to be less hot than yesterday in most parts of Europe, BUT humidity will be significantly higher in some places.
Let's see if some Humidex red zones will appear!
How many retarded migrants do you think will drown?
Darwin's ghost is watching and placing his bets!

For now (since july 5) I've seen news of:
1 idiot went randomly running and died of a heatstroke
12 people died (mostly bong tourists) due to wildfires in Spain
about 50 boomers without AC in France who died of heatstroke
~70 more retarded migrants randomly drowned in France
4 dogs dead when an AC system broke down in France
an unspecified number of boomers died of heatstroke in cellars at 45°C in Belgium.
Probably thousands of unreported deaths.

NEWS; 99 migrants also drowned in Germany during the june heatwave!

My wife is Japanese it's rough for her, she doesn't understand why there's no AC everywhere like in Japan. Japan is used to strong heat waves with high humidity so for them having AC is a matter of survival, similar to making earthquake and typhoon resistant buildings. But the thing is here, on top of that oudated and overblown ecology concern (which my hippie parents keep pushing) AC wasn't even needed as much since weather rarely got so crazy. Overall nature is very peaceful in France, so people don't have the same relationship to it as Japaneses do.

To top it off in Paris and other places there are many regulations to preserve buildings (which kinda makes sense, Tokyo is great but it's just skyscraper hellscape to the point that the sun disappear so early in the day).
It's rough for people used to prioritizing confort at all time (understandably, if we move further from Paris I'll def try to get a place with AC)

he HAS been touting that this shit is because of co2, which is a decades old failed hypothesis that was never even close to proven - every time, it turns out that the co2 morons have made up something and tried presenting it as real
the humidex is just the latest attempt to mislead unwitting humans that dont realize co2 driven global warming is absolutely fake and unscientific, it goes against how gasses act.

gasses are less soluble when its hotter, but you cant expect retards to understand simple science

>>
>>538925964
You are just out of contact with reality, aren't you? Research grants are worth more than the trillions they made selling oil? Magnetic field models are legit but only up until the part where they say it only accounts for a marignal increase in temperature compared to greenhouse gas emissions? The current scientific consensus has been "busted time and again"? No one in their right mind is even trying to deny global warming exists anymore, that stance is undefendable. There is no legitimate model that predicts the changes we're seeing that doesn't include warming caused by CO2.
>>
>>538922115
Thank you for collecting these stats swissbro. Interesting how many niggers drown. I recently went swimming in the Rhine in Basel. The street along the river was filled with browns, partying, chimping, dealing drugs, those things. But though the river itself had many swimmers, they were all white. I joked about it to my father, but he's gen x so he just gave me that judgemental look for being racist.
>>
>>538926384
>There is no legitimate model
at least you said something correct
>Research grants are worth more than the trillions they made selling oil?
research grants are personally worth more to the academic writing that grant proposal and making sure that its got wording in it that will ensure the globalist bureaucrat doing the accepting will like it
its almost like you dont understand that raw power ultimately ends up being worth more than raw money
>The current scientific consensus
here we go with this canard again
there is no scientific consensus except by the grant writers
>Magnetic field models are legit but only up until the part where they say it only accounts for a marignal increase in temperature compared to greenhouse gas emissions?
they take TSI measurements from space and conclude that is sufficient to call the T "total" when it isnt
so long as you refuse to understand that TSI is not Total and has omissions, and they purposefully mismeasure this and assume any warming is from co2, you will forever be retarded
co2isms are assumptions built into the models
it isnt real
it is an assumption built into a model
models that break very shortly into the future and predict all kinds of catastrophes that never happen

If Earth’s magnetic field is supposedly causing “all” recent warming, then show me the mechanism and the energy budget. We know that previous magnetic field excursions did not significantly affect climate, and the energy involved in upper atmosphere electromagnetic currents is about 100,000x smaller than the energy driving surface climate. Solar storms affect the ionosphere, not the troposphere, which is where weather and climate actually occur.
>they take TSI measurements from space and conclude that is sufficient to call the T "total" when it isnt
wrong. TSI means Total Solar Irradiance i.e, the spectrally integrated solar energy input at the top of Earth’s atmosphere. calling it “not total” because you want to smuggle in magnetic field/cosmic ray speculation is a pathetic attempt at wordplay. it will not save you bud
>co2isms are assumptions built into the models
retard cope. CO2 forcing is measured by spectroscopy, satellites, surface radiation observations, the isotope record, ocean heat uptake and the vertical fingerprint of tropospheric warming plus stratospheric cooling. you can cry all you want but this is reality.

It's indeed the wind, temperature probably feels 2-4°C less than what the humidex says because of that.
Thanks for your precious report compañero!

Absolutely not comfy in the interior of Catalonia, last night was horrible and today I went to the patio and it was hard to breathe, awful. My family is trying to survive with a single minisplit for the whole 4 bedrooms house, it's actually way better than nothing, but not ideal.
>>
>>538928741
If it gets worse tell them to put some wet towels or t-shirts on.
The cookening continues and so does the reporting!

>a 2009 email hack
here we can see laid bare once again your penchant for lying to make it seem like reality isnt as hard on your tards as it really is
there was no hack
someone with a conscience saw what Mann & Schmidt were doing and leaked the shit
your protest of this is literally you saying that defrauding science is ok; when the data doesnt show you what you want, its perfectly ok to start playing with it and augmenting it until it tells you what you want to hear
>NINE separate investigations found no data falsification or scientific fraud
this is pretty funny that there were even 9
9 foxes telling you there's nothing amiss in the henhouse despite it already being known that several chickens are missing and the floor of the henhouse is littered with feathers
if you understood what took place instead of asking the foxes about this problem, you'd know that Mann & Schmidt were alarmed that the warming signal had completely disappeared from the data
and instead of accepting this, they came up with a trick to alter the data, hide the decline - in their own words, they discussed this "privately" except when you're a teacher at a university, you have no expectation of privacy
the trick they came up with - and you see this in every graph since - you are no longer being presented with real temps
it is hilariously similar with this humidex bullshit
you are just presented with temp anomaly and then they play with the baseline in the background
appeal to authority all you want - only clowns defend this bastardization of science

huh. ventusky reports 70-80% for barcelona, wonder where the extra 10% is coming from, from them
it does sound like hell regardless.

35C/40% (31% humidity on meteociel, 44 humidex) where I'm at, we're expecting 39C later today. orange area.
business as usual here: work from home naked, drink water, take a cold shower or two, enjoy some icecream.
break out the towel and icepacks and go full heat-stroke remediation mode if it really ever gets bad enough.

funny thing is, my flat does have AC, but shit's always fucked up my throat something fierce for some reason, no matter how old I am, how new or old the AC is, how well mantained it may be. shit sucks, and I'd rather suffer some heat for a couple hours a day than a a fucked up throat the next two-three months

>>538928889
>put some wet towels or t-shirts on
if humidity is preventing sweating from helping, I doubt that'd help much either
ice pack -> towel wrapped -> armpit. lasts an hour or so

>We know that previous magnetic field excursions did not significantly affect climate
oh really, when the proxies strip out all the transients, you somehow know about the breadth & extent of the transients of the past that we cant measure?
get this load of bullshit out of here
>you want to smuggle in magnetic field/cosmic ray speculation
holy shit we've got a live one here
cosmic rays are not speculation and they literally could not be ignored to the point where the IPCC included them in their v6 models
you disingenuous turd shaped ass hole
reminder that once they started trying to include this that could not be ignored, it absolutely FUCKED their models which is why you never hear them trumpet any winnings they've had from it, because the other built in assumptions conflicted with this real stuff that could no longer be ignored
instead we get you assholes still trying to use model output from the 90s or 2004 saying
>LOOK MA WE HIT A DATA POINT, THAT MEANS THE MODEL'S RIGHT!
and nevermind that they are old even more sandbox tier bullshit that has been superseded a few times over, but you're not trumpeting those more recent broken models because they're even moar broken than the old ones that outright left a bunch of shit out
you are a clown, you dont belong in any conversation regarding physical matters
you believe fake bullshit and ignore when you're btfo
that's some serious delusion

The only impact humidity has on overheating is that it makes sweat/evap a little less effective.

What I don't know is if you actually sweat more. In dry weather it evaporates so it feels like you sweat less but idk. The evaporation is where the cooling happens.
>>
>>538929410
>work from home naked
That sounds quite based if you can focus with the heat.
>if humidity is preventing sweating from helping, I doubt that'd help much either
Liquid water in abundance (soaked cloth or similar) drives away a lot of heat when it evaporates, try it, it works.
>>
>>538929542
>What I don't know is if you actually sweat more.
You sweat more until you're out of water, with jelly floating in your veins, then you don't sweat anymore and you get a heatstroke.
>>

>NONE found falsified climate data.
this is lying by omission

they started giving you manipulated fiction

Sweating is good, I live in probably the hottest most humid part of the US. If you are working outside you want to be drenched in sweat this time of year.

You just have to put back in what you lose aka drink plenty of water. Normal sodium intake will replace the sodium just drink water.
>>
>>538930005
Yeah drinking a lot of water and throwing water on yourself will let you resist more for sure.
>>
>>538930266
Interestingly I think humans are basically the only animal that sweat in this way. I mean other animals sweat but not in this way. Humans basically release water on their entire body for the sole purpose of evaporation cooling. It is a very unique trait in nature. Maybe horses also do it to some degree.

When you compare it to other forms of cooling like panting etc, it is a much more sophisticated form of thermoregulation.
>>
>>538930424
Yeah I wonder if primates are the only family with such a thermoregulation, or if it's common to other mammal groups.

>>
>>538930617

It also says equines are the only family with a similar (but independently evolved) way of sweating on extensive surfaces too, using a specific enzyme (that's why horse sweat looks like foam).

10 degrees hotter here, same humidiy; you've literally no excuse. last I had your temps (shortly after the june heatwave) I felt fucking cold.
soak the heat in, drink room-temp water. become one with the heat until your body adapts.
sure, it'll suck for a couple weeks when the temperature drops and a warm autumn evening feels like deep winter, but you merely have to wait for the same process to happen in reverse

Apparently the interaction of water trapped by the hair greatly reduces the effect of the evaporative cooling. I wonder how much it soaking into clothing and then evaporating effects the process.

Based on feel alone I actually disagree. A loose thin short sleeve thin fabric (thin cotton) shirt buttoned low (mostly open on the front) is the superior set-up. It blocks enough of the sun to help against the direct solar heating. It has enough surface area for evaporative cooling. And if it catches a breeze or draft it will actively feel cool.

When I am working outside the shirt is always more comfortable after it is drenched in sweat than before.

that's kinda issue here, wet shirts usually just cling to me. guess I should look into thin cotton, see if hat helps, but I can't really invest in a wardrobe change right now: glue traps started picking up carpet beetles a month back (I blame the houseplant a flatmate brought in) and they've been multiplying fast in this heat. been trying to get everyone to clean up more, but it's hard, and I bet there's plenty sweat and oil on the couch for them to feast on right now
