Why can't Chinese products compete in western markets?
Their tv's are all right for the price.
>>538926860they have xiaomi and huawei these phones barely differ in anything, eventually you just reach market saturation
>>538926860oneplus was competing just fine until the chinks decided to merge it with oppo and fill it with chink bloat.Oneplus 7 series were the last true oneplus devices.
>>538926860Oneplus use to be custom ROM friendly, but they turned jewish like all the rest. Motorola seems to be the new hacking-friendly brand since they partnered with GrapheneOS
>>538926860Phone sales are down because normies hate being chronically online and bothered with tedious notifications all the time. Social media use down 50% over the past few years. We're healing.
>>538927049Should I install a custom ROM on my OnePlus 5T?
>>538926860because US telecom carriers commonly operate on a whitelist. if your phone isn't on the goy approved list, it won't work. i'm on at&t, here's the whitelist. https://www.att.com/scmsassets/support/wireless/devices-working-on-att-network.pdfchinese phones are superior to US phones.
>>538926860Wasnt oneplus whole shtick "premium but affordable"? They are neither premium nor affordable, so outside of tech kikes from youtube who even cares about their phones?
>buy phone from China>it has 5G with all the bands>for some reason the 5G is only 1/10th the speed it should be>research online>"It ain't on the approved phone list bro, your carrier won't let it use actual 5G
>>538927298>>538927921Is that Americans can't just buy a smartphone from the manufacturer and use it normally?
>>538927751Women care,if its not iphone you're a creep chud incel
>>538926860In the case of OnePlus, it's probably their appalling customer service.
>>538929100They can but they are a bit more expensive (30-50$ upfront) but carrier phones will have to that 30-50$ next month as plan activation fee. The real reason why they buy carrier phone is financing.Instead of buying 1000$ phone here and now, they finance it and only spend 70$ immediately but sign up for like 2-3 year long monthly payments that cover phone and carrier plan.
>>538929100What do you mean? You can generally buy any phone you want and take it to any carrier. I got my phone off Amazon with a $2 SIM card.
>>538930993Like the other Anon said, carriers have a whitelist of supported phones. If your phone isn't on the list you will have limited service. Not because of any hardware issue but because they never approved it.
>>538926860My old 10t has better signal and battery life than any good Samsung phone my family has. I wanted to get another Chinese phone next actually. Love the ultra fast charger out of the box.
>>538931155I hope a meteor lands on DC
>>538930275A MD5 hash was wrong for the latest firmware version on their official website. When I contacted customer service they told me to ignore it. Needless to say I stopped using Oneplus products soon after.
>>538927921what phone was it?
OnePlus 3T and since 1 year a Xiaomi 15
>>538926860The amount of piss skinned cope in this thread is hilarious.>it's the gubmint!!!111>it's muh saturationzzzz!!!11lmfao
>>538927751generally you got better hardware closer to commodity pricing, but the phones suffer from shitty software.
>>538926860oneplus is for poor people market segment, but american poor people can access debt for an iphone. the oneplus in the usa was for working class mexicans and filipinos, but they can get an iphone for x% APR over 4 years and so will do that instead of buying a $200 phone and not having debt.
>>538926860You could never go outside and purchase one. It kinda hurts sales.
>>538929100You have to use a fake IMEI for most Chinese brands because Samsung and Apple essentially pushed out other manufacturers. If the device isn't approved IMEI carriers won't activate your service. I have a Sony Xperia and it works but only because I use third party software to unlock the modem and because I'm on a pay as you go carrier who doesn't care. For any normies in America, they will only buy what they are told they are allowed to buy. That's why Sony abandoned the American market. It doesn't make financial sense to try and compete against the carriers and the manufacturers for a slice of market share, especially since now Samsung makes budget devices.
>>538927157This sounds like bullshit. Most kids I come across stick to their phones until acted upon by an outside force.
>>538932578that's because creating good software requires a soul. like writing a great book. chinks dont have souls. so their software is shit. like their literature. they're slant eyed niggers nothing more
>>538926860>Spied on with inferior tech
>>538926860how are they not competing? their products are in EVERY device you own. in some form or another.
>>538933090i have had several zoomers casually mention that social media was a mistake. they still use their devices to watch youtube slop. but, we watched tv and played video games for unhealthy durations. this is their version of that, i suppose.
>>538926860Probably because they are banned. I recently bought some Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra shoes. They are some of the best running shoes I have ever bought. Better buy them while you can and before the U.S. bans them since American companies can't compete.
This is not about sales. It's about control. And everything is going to be one brand at one point. One brand in the US. One brand in the EU.
>>538933115lecturing a culture that's remained dominant for thousands of years when you're committing your own culturral genocide is rather rich. also, have you never read the tao? i guess germany is just full of shitskins now, so this tracks.
My OP7T randomly died while I was using it. 70% battery, shut off and never turned back on. My OP9 held up fine for 4 years but got the green line OLED issue. Apparently I'm lucky because it took 4 years to happen, many people got it after a few months. Does anyone have suggestions for a customizable friendly android phone, easy to use with magisk and shit like that? I can't keep getting cucked by OP.
I have the oppo find x9 pro and it's a great phone
