How much longer will this farce go on?
Trump doesn’t have the courage to launch a ground war, so he can’t force Iran to surrender.
When the U.S. and Israel bomb Iran, Iran responds by launching missiles and drones at Israel and other Middle Eastern countries.
Then the entire Middle East’s oil export capacity grinds to a halt, and oil prices continue to skyrocket.
After a while, President Trump decides to call a TACO—another temporary ceasefire.
Iran continues to export oil and build missiles, and then the war resumes once again.
This is utterly ridiculous.

It's the desert. You hit every bridge, every power plant, every fuel depot, and anything that looks like it's for storing or transporting water. The problem will sort itself out after that.

Trump should launch strategic nukes on all of Iran's cities. I mean Iran is causing a oil shortage around the world which will lead to mass starvation in the country of our greatest ally Israel and Israel's greatest ally India. Iran is committing a holocaust on Jews and Indians like world has never seen before. They are the new Nazis, and they must be stopped asap. With nukes.

The entire point is to make a on off valve for the economy for investor, it will probably last Trunp'w entire presidency and possibly because ingrained into the US economy permanently as society builds around it. So not only will the strait closure continue being a problem, but US markets will find a way to make it beneficial to keep it as a permanent feature since openly it again, and permanently, will shock the market into collapse.

The majority of the naval fleet has been in theatre for an average of 4 months
They will be running low on VLS(vertical launch systems), they can only be loaded at dock

The maintenance backlog on the carriers will be huge, the jets will be taking a beating from the launching systems

The Ford is way past its first scheduled inspection, the systems it uses are the first ofd their kind
Lincoln is past its date as well

We have enough boats we could swap in and out indefinitely, dumb bong. We don't have to just leave them in place. There are enough to continuously swap them for freshly resupplied craft.
>>
>>538931708
no you dont
Stennis is way behind schedule
Truman is due a massive overhaul
Ford is due its first time in dock
Roosevelt is in exercise(most likely candidate)
Eisenhower is its workup cycle
Vinson is way behind on its readiness cycle
Reagan is awaiting maintenance
Washington is in the pacific as part of the japan agreement
Nimitz is heading into decom
Lincoln is in theatre and has broken the record on deployment 210 days
Bush is also there and approaching 4 months

You need to swap out 3 but only have 1 replacement and its providing coverage on the west coast
>>
>>538932483
>Source: my ass

Sure thing, bud. I'm sure you know more than the navy command who almost certainly have somehow blundered into mistiming all their maintenance cycles to be left with two operational carriers.
>>
>>538930006
No. Lies give way in time because only truth is eternal.
The US is draining its SPR (oil reserves) to prop up the global oil market. Iran is biding time with will-he-won't-he ceasefires and deals to ride out the clock on US oil reserves.
We're at ~310million gallons in the SPR; the limit before the walls of the caverns holding the oil collapse is about ~120million. We're drawing down about 2.2million per day.
>>
>>538932653
its a fact
check any part of that list for yourself
there are only 3 available docks for the carriers and the backlog is massive
the Navy has been bitching about this for years now
In fact, just read that the dock on the west coast is out of action so thats only 2 now
>>
>>538928681
I'm not sure because I had read what the "oil experts" were saying and we should be having shortages in the U.S. right about now according to them. It turns out the U.S. has a lot more oil reserves than they thought and are flooding the market to keep the price down.
>>
>>538930231
Republicans will sell reserves until next elections and then they will blame Democrats for high prices.
>>
>>538928681
Remember anons these idiots wanted a one world order and they let you see how bad it is just to have global oil prices.

If 1 carrier gets hit and needs urgent repairs the US naval carrier fleet will essentially be disabled

Crazy really, having that amount of investment deployed and no way to fix them
>>
Iran makes drones a lot faster than we make anything. So eventually we will run out of all sorts of munitions and they won't. Eventually the shooting will stop but the US can probably continue to line up ships in the gulf of Oman and blockade it. Then we will see how long our oil reserves last
>>
>>538934065
Been doing some calculations with AI on this
A launch of 1500 drones at the same time would effectively disable the carrier fleets
Wont happen because thats nuke time

The calculations were based on defense missile expenditure, the inability to reload at sea and degraded flight capability due to the amount of launches etc

Its also based on Iran launching them all within an hour, I extended the timeframe to days and the number doubled but its still well within stockpile levels, a drop in the bucket really
>>
>>538930794
imagine listening to a migger
>>
>>538930231
I fully expect Trump to drain the reserve down to the point the caverns collapse on themselves.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE are building more pipelines. Iraq is switching to a land route through Syria. In a couple years the Gulf States will be able to completely bypass the Strait of Hormuz to ship their oil and Iran won't be able to do anything about. Then we will just bomb the shit out of them until every last IRGC terrorist has been eliminated. There is nothing they will be able to do.

Basically after October 7, Israel and the United States had enough and decided to end the Iranian menace once and for all. This is a part of that.
>>

US has Syrian oil, wussy, and is controlling the Gulf. I guess this is also a pro-Far Right psyop telling people to drill oil, and make oil important.

Greens defeated, pro-CCP Bloc defeated, and Iran losing. 3 wins for Trump in 1.

>do you own an oil refinery or a pipeline or at least make money off the market?
Yes, I own pipeline MLPs and upstream royalty trusts.
>>538928681
For those not quite getting it yet, a large chunk of Iran's online simp brigade are actually leftists with a degenerate gambling streak who stupidly mixed politics with money, and are now deep in the red on their oil speculation, with most of them betting the price would be well-over $100 by now.

There's an entire reddit where these bucketed crabs congregate and theorycraft reasons for why oil will be $100, $150, or even $200 any day now.
For my part, I did add to my oil/gas holdings, only because I assume the US will increase its production to meet any shortfall, but I'm not speculating about price, and these are long-term holdings.

We export sweet crud but pretty much the entire gulf is set up to refine imported sour. As it's better for industry based refining for plastics etc. We also don't have a nationalized energy system and big oil will happily sell off everything to other counties as the price spikes.
If everything is ok then why is the Strategic Petroleum Reserve at a level we are near the risk point for the system to go into structurally collapse? Trump has been shucking and jiving his way to manipulating the oil market with big talk of the war being over etc.
But it's clearly not and unless something big changes the chickens are all coming home to roost real soon.
