The universe is gigantic, so there must be some really advanced civilizations out there. Which political systems do you think they adopt?

>>538934898I don't think complex life will always noose itself with politics like humans do. I don't think alien life would be much like humans at all so it's hard to imagine what they would be up to. They might not even be perceptible. They could be right beside you and you'd never know.
Infinite Referendumism: Every micro‑decision goes to instant online vote, causing total decision paralysis but very high “participation metrics”.Terms‑and‑Conditionsism: The constitution is a 300‑page T&C document nobody reads; “click accept to stay a citizen” appears once a week.Singulocracy: An aligned superintelligence runs everything and humans are left to debate aesthetics and sports; elections become symbolic “version upgrade” ceremonies.
>>538934898The universe as you know it doesn't exist, it's not gigantic, you've been lied to by kikes. Nobody has ever left the "atmosphere".
>>538934898They are probably cooperative and don't spend energy bombing each other. Also, they don't create life they cannot afford to maintain. Everyone has a purpose in their society, and are given the tools to better provide for themselves. They also don't throw plastic in the atmosphere and oceans.

>>538934898It is highly likely that our own political systems, as well as their success rates and methods of application, are predicated upon our psychology, which is in turn predicated upon our needs, our values, our capabilities and our climate. One can discern this across the different races - Eastern Asia, for instance, seems predisposed towards collectivism, bureaucracy, the surrender of individual identity to the state. China and Korea are rather enclosed by geography, and have excellent potential for agriculture. Every now and then, however, horrific incursions occur at the behest of war-like nomadic pastoralists constantly invading and subverting their existence - hence, a strong, unitary political ideology, given over to authoritarianism, conservatism and utilitarianism, is necessary to cultivate as strong of a state as possible to defend against outsiders. One could say Japan is somewhat of an offshoot and has developed differently at the behest of their isolationism, geography and history, but you get the point. Democracy and republicanism were never their thing, because it didn't suit them. One can apply the above thinking to cultures all around the world. Europe and its many cultures developed in certain ways, and one can see how certain nations are predisposed to different brands of politics more than others. Russia in particular is an interesting amalgamation between Western traditions and Asian traditions, and the mindset follows - they cannot help but be autocratic. Latin America can trace its present problems and predispositions back to the governance of Spain/Portugal.These differences I've mentioned above are merely pertinent to the human race. Imagine an entirely separate life form, which has evolved in an entirely different biosphere, thrives off perhaps a radically different diet, reproduces in ways either dissimilar or utterly removed from our methods, and perhaps socialises in ways we cannot even fathom.

>>538934898I'm hoping for degenerate anthropomorphic aliens with the hots for humans, with a matriarchal civilization. With a culture that revolves around snatching up exotic alien males.>Wage slave the rest of my lifeOr>Be debased by hot aliens.
>>538938452Take the myriad of senses, for instance. The olfactory organ of dogs is incredibly strong compared to ours. They can understand reality in an entirely different way. Envision an alien species which can smell one's life story with but a breath. Another possibility, quite cliche, is telepathy, and rumoured to be present in NHIs, as per recent disclosures. Given all the possibilities, alien life may socialise, cognate and perceive reality itself in entirely different ways. Thus, the way they conduct themselves, the way they survive, the way they obtain food and interact with one another, may be totally different. What if their planet is radically different? A gas giant, an ocean planet, with severe atmospheric pressures? This could set them on not only a political path totally alien to ours, but also a civilisational path utterly unfamiliar. It must be said, however, that perhaps there are some commonalities which are to be found across all sentient life in the universe. Perhaps it is carnivorous, war-like creatures which are most predisposed towards intelligence - the sheer amount of competition between beings drives innovation and technological growth, and the necessity of socialising, collectively cooperating, enforces a need for language, which allows for the proliferation of complex ideas. Perhaps across the universe, alien beings are more often than not quite like us, and maybe even bipedalism is a given. It could be the case that aliens naturally end up similar to us, or end up radically different. It's impossible to tell. You could write very long theoretical essays on the subject, consulting all manner of fields of expertise.
