Americans need permission from their insurance before they can get any sort of medical procedure, and they can say no.

This is simply incorrect but i would expect such ignorance from a dalit who street shits in canada
>>

As opposed to Canadians who are pre-approved for MAID, and they cannot say no.

>>

Ive heard stories from reddit where they have their procedure cancelled same-day due to the insurance company saying it wasn't necessary and won't cover it.
>>
>>538938738
Insurances almost always agrees if the policy fits. You only hear about uninsured peasants who cant afford world class healthcare and compare our system with the UK of all countries with their india-like healthcare. Canada will MAID you before helping if you are white.
>>
>>538938738
Simply not true. You could just pay for it yourself.
With cash. From your pocket.

(((Insurance))) is such a scam.

Not true but even if it was, you can't own a gun at all, Europeon.

The trick is to go to the emergency room and get admitted/treated through that. Insurance can't deny an emergency procedure and if they do it's a billing error that the hospital/you can appeal.
Without insurance, prices are super low but they have to ask and run through insurance if you have it.
>>
>>538941516
>and run through insurance if you have it.
Just tell them you're self pay.
>>

Insurance didn't seem to cover Brian Thompson very well, sad!

Canadian NHS denies treatment all the time, and often after lengthy delays. Your upper class comes here to see doctors, doesn't that tell you something?
>>
>>538938738
so do Canadians
>>
>>538941672
Our upper class goes to Mexico for treatment.

This is real and I don't have insurance so when I need something I pay out of pocket. I ALWAYS have to go through the dialogue tree of "what insurance do you have, we'll contact them and in three weeks you can come back and get the knife taken out of your arm."

Life is so much simpler just paying cash and going to urgent care in a nice part of town. I thought I had pneumonia, paid $300 out of pocket, got xrays done in like two hours, confirmed I didn't, left with a prescription for antibiotics no problem. I HAD FREE HEALTHCARE AT THE TIME THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN 6 HOURS JUST TO BE SEEN AND XRAYS BACK IN TWO WEEKS. I still would have gotten the anti-biotics but it would have been infuriating.

Also I've saved like, what, a hundred thousand in health insurance by not having it the last 15 years? Fuck insurance. It's a scam.

You need your insurance to agree to pay for something if you want insurance to pay for it, yes. No one is stopping you from simply getting the procedure and figuring out how to pay for it later. If you even bother to pay at all that is. Many people dont have insurance because they just pay for it themselves.

Euros like to talk about "free healthcare" that they pay for ahead of time, but here in America it is very common for people to go to the hospital and recieve actual free healthcare because they simply dont pay for it and hospitals cannot legally turn you away. So where a European might wait three years and suffer all along for an important procedure they already paid for, an American would just go get it done immediately, and then just not ever pay for it.

Why the fuck are we paying them anon for us to still have to pay for the procedure ourselves? What do they do and how is it beneficial?
>>

>says no
>gets shot
>>
>>538939826
ok anon, we did the procedure your insurance denied, that will be $50k, plus $10k to the assistant, plus $5k to the hospital, PLUS TIP
how will you pay up today, goyslave?
>>
>>538941960
Why would you think you can hire a middle man to pay for your healthcare? In what world would it not be cheaper to just pay the doctor directly?

Could be most based system, as long as they only deny browns, faggots and mudsharks

You know what's funny in a dark humor way? All these hospitals are partnered up with finance companies now. So they're like dealerships. They'll finance anything you want with outrageous interest rates.

American here. My mother has cancer and has had cancer for about 10 years. She has lived 10 years with a cancer that typically kills in 3 years.
Her pills are $10 grand per month.
She has had multiple surgeries and diagnostic tests over the years; with spine surgery coming up in a few weeks.
>She has paid $0
I can go to the DR right now without an appointment and get seen today.
I can go to the receptionist at my walk in and ask for an appointment with a specialist and walk out with a referral in less than 10 minutes.
I can make a dentist appointment today and get seen this week, possibly even tomorrow.
People that don't have jobs get state insurance which is free.
People that have jobs can pay as little as $80 per month for full coverage, vision, and dental.
Yes, some people, like I used to, pay up to $850 per month for insurance, but that insurance covered almost a million dollars in bills and I didn't pay a cent, nor did I reach any sort of coverage limit. On top of that, my wife and I got the best care in the world for my premature son who should have died but is now 4 years old.

>TL;DR the price on healthcare is just so the hospitals can get money from the insurance companies which is why the price is inflated. Most people don't pay seriously for healthcare and if they do it's because they can afford it and choose to. Healthcare is essentially free in the USA and you don't have to wait a year for an appointment to get antibiotics.

oh, no

If it's discovered you have insurance, the hospital WILL bill through it
>>
>>538938738
In America you just go into the hospital and they treat you then they send you a bill and you throw the bill away
>>
>>538944251
you can't go see specialists though to get ongoing care.

This was several years ago, but I'm uninsured and fucked my back up.. got an MRI for $190. I see insured people talk about how difficult getting an MRI is and how expensive it is and it confuses me
