This has probably been replied plenty of times but if I was forced to choose, I would choose north one. Could I regret it later? Maybe. But as far as we know, north korea still has birth rates the west had in the 60s and they were, afaik, not really affected by memeflu or ukraine war or perhaps even iran war sanctions. The baby is not placed on the mother's chest or in her arms for emotional bonding. They are separated immediately and for the remainder of their stay until discharge they are kept separate for most of the time. Discharge is usually 5-10 days after birth. So for the first 5-10 they are kept separate.
