Idk if im having a midlife crisis or not but for some reason i recently became obsessed with adventure bikes like the Aprilia tuareg. I know that generally italian engineering is inferior to german/austrian/Japanese engineering but lately the italians have been producing some pretty fantastically reliable products like the aprilia Tuareg. Ive had mine for a while now and it runs like a fucking sewing machine. Its perfect.

I would not ride one personally, risk of crippling accident is just not worth it.

I only like Harleys or endures (any brand but husqvarna is the nicest)
>>
>>538965230
It's fine to go on them down a mountain trial or some other rural area. The retards who drive around in urban areas and create a lot of noise, especially at strange hours, it's nigger tier. Men should spend time out doors, in nature, and I'm not going to knock someone for being into something like motocross. It's masculine. What's not masculine is getting in other people's faces about it.

The risk with motocycles ridden responsibly is no worse than riding a bicycle on the road. Yes, both are dangerous, but if you ride a motorcycle responsibly its much safer than riding a motorcycle fast. Motorcycles are not meant for speed. They are meant for cruising. If you want to go fast you need to work a little harder and buy a gr corolla or a golf r

I would get a Suzuki DR650. It's like 50 horsepower, goes up to 90 for interstate speeds has dual sport capability, plug set and replacement spokes

Motorcycles are degenerate cause it has a higher fatality rate, but that can be mostly render operator dependent if riding off road. Dirtbikes are utility vehicles and are hence not degenerate.

I would avoid faggy adventure bikes unless it's a honda african twin

Bikes are jeet-coded. If you make a little 50cc your daily, then you are spirituallly-Dalit.

I've been wanting to post about that cuck stand. They never know how to do a wheelie, so they do that instead. Maybe they are just stretching but it looks so reddit.

I once performed a retrograde urethrogram on a dude from a motorbike crash with open book pelvic trauma. The urethra looked like a Jackson Pollock.

buy a truck. It's more useful.
>>
>>538965586
Africa twins are cool but they literally weigh like almost 600 pounds. I do not want to get stuck somewhere on my own having to try to lift a 600 pound bike after i tip over on a trail.

It's more fun to watch people risk their lives than doing it oneself, no need to be retarded, leave it to the proffesionals.

I think the pole stand looks cool. Looks cooler than leaning over ghe handlebars while standing on a dirtbike at least
>>
>>538965230
it's pretty dangerous especially out on the highway but You will enjoy it so fucking much,. the freedom of being out in the open full throttling between gears. it's like an iron pony. I love to get away from other people on wide roads and just swerve back and forth in the lane and feel the sense of gravity tug on my nuts like a child experiencing roller coaster ride for the first time.

child and nuts shouldn't be used in the same sentence though
>>
>>538965230
Anything more powerful than a Honda Ruckus is degenerate. 50cc is all you need.
>>
Also they sell Helmets with Stereo Speakers but I like to use my Acull BT skull conductors (only 20 bucks on Amazon but you use an EQ and they sound like a 200 dollar pair). that way You can hear the music and and the environment around you. the hook around the ear lobe and allow the helmet to slide on easily. listening to Rush or Zeppelin while riding a motorcycle is pretty bad ass. I like to find rock songs with motorcycle themes

I got a put put Honda. a Rebel 300cc.
it's got enough power to climb steep hills with a 220 pound man on it.

but it dogs a bit. dont take it out on the highway unless you ride in lane 2-3 the entire way
>>
I just got a KLR 650, its pretty fun to ride. Just don't be an idiot or ride outside of your skill level and you'll probably be fine. Until some blind lady kills you.

They used rebel 300s for my basic rider course training. They are super low and stable but i didnt like them very much.

>>538966156
Klr650s are awesome. I was caught between the klr650 and the kle500 and the tuareg 660. I went with the tuareg bc riding it feels like ejaculating but any of these options are very good imo.
>>
>>538966434
Why? Whats wrong with our roads?
>>
>>538966637
Full of jeets with fradulent CDLs, females driving 5000lb SUVS, tweaked out meth-heads, your garden variety drunk, etc. They actually caught a jeet trucker up here taking a Teams call while on the road, probably working in a call center while he was driving (good jugaad, sir).

my main issue with motorcyclists is that they don't respect other people's personal space but if you get anywhere near theirs they will absolutely flip out
>>
>>538966979
Drivers should not want to kill motorcyclists tho. Some drivers just dgaf which imo is degenerate. Wanting to be wreckless with motorcyclists lives is degenerate

Yes you are having a midlife crises. Adventure bikes are just the millennial version of Harleys but the fact it's a different *kind* of motorcycle doesn't actually make you any different than your father. I wouldn't even care at all if motorcycle riders went on a special list:
-no health insurance claims
-no hogging hospital rooms except to extract organs
-no receiving organs
-not criminal charges for other drivers involved in motorcycle crashes
-no riding under 21
-no passengers under 21
-no riding at night

Real riders stand up like that when approaching a bump as to not get thrown around or out of the seat, controlling the bike in the process.
This was one of several litmus tests I watched for when riding with new people.

pussies that make threads like this never had a scooter in 1999 at 14yo with some little babe wrapped around your waist on one seat to go to the baseball diamonds after school.
>"just hold on to me and dont try to put your feet down"
lmao you cant even imagine what you born after y2k losers missed out on

I remember my aunt seeing one of the girls and audibly remarking she was "wearing a bandana as a shirt"

I just can't understand why anybody would buy a fucking adventure bike when they live in a country with paved roads.
Adventure bikes are for shithole places like africa, india, or the deserts of australia.
Adventure bikes are for dirt roads and off road.
>>
I'd like to get a motorcycle. Civil war is gonna happen soon. I already have a mossberg 500 and a bunch of shells which will be my primary nigger killer. I have a glock 19 too. 308 winchester for killing deer to eat. I have a tent, butane torch, tons of bics. But my vehicle is a sub compact city car (don't get me wrong it's great) but when SHTF roads will be clogged (read the stand)

The fuckin odds i see this same guy post in the daily bike thread on /o/ which i just started browsing a couple days ago

Tuareg are Islamic terrorists. Why do Europeans keep naming stuff after them?
>>
>>538968812
This is what I was thinking. I mainly wanted one because it felt like it gave me the option to travel to or live in 3rd world places which seems better and better as tine goes on

>be me
>own a motorcycle
>fall for the truck psyop
>buy a truck
>one year insurance costs more than my motorcycle
>a months worth of gas costs as much as a years insurance for my motorcycle
>the insurance costs as much as a house payment
>BUT YOU CAN CARRY STUFF
>Anything I ever need that I can't carry on my bike I can have delivered with all the money I save
>YOU GET WET IN THE RAIN AND CAN'T RIDE IN THE SNOW
>I have rainproof gear and if it snows enough to actually justify putting the bike away I can afford an uber or taxi with all the money I saved

Triumph 900 Tiger Rally Pro for me.

yeah i'm sure you drive to and from work in Canadian winter on a motorcycle 5 times a week
big old larp.

Except you drive it in the city like a retard.
It's like you're ice skating on pavement instead of rollerblading.
Everyone thinks you're retarded, even other bikers, especially other bikers.

>>538965230
Looks cool. Have fun. Don't get killed.
Funny that an adventure bike's dealers are all in big cities.
>>
Motorcycles are cool. Except for adventure bikes. These are the cuckboy choice. Just an incredible amount of absolute faggots riding these

For me it's the 3rd Gen klr 650
