How do modern brits tolerate living in such expensive places? You could buy a house here for that money.
>I sure love sleeping above a staircase so I can roll off and break my bones on the stairssaid no one ever
>why do Brits toleratepunitive panopticon surveillance state and even if you had guns you wouldn't use them to shoot politicians anyway because it's easier to just complain and go to work and watch Netflix
>>538980825>fall out of bed>fall one entire storey down and die
>>538981081south facing double glazed windows are worth it maybe?
>>538980825uhhh, muh GDP, okay sweaty?
>>538981081>he doesn't know how to slide down stairs tacticallyNGMI
>>538980825pretty good and cheap stash house to be honest
>>538980825Because you could buy that on less than two years salary.
>>538981296>The median full-time salary in the UK is approximately £39,039, while the median for all employees (including part-time workers) is £32,890.
>>538980825corr look at that mint place
>>538980825Half the fat cunts here would break that and end up by the front door.
>>538981321That 32k is more realistic outside of London. Mind you that's pre tax and pre NI contributions. Most people here are left with £2k-2.2k a month after taxes, rent can easily take 33-50% of your income unless you live in council housing, surrounded by antisocial chavs and third worlders. The families that succeed usually keep closely together, share costs and save up for their house, business etc (mostly Asians and Eastern Europeans). Fellow Brits who were taught to be fiercely independent are getting fucked over by the costs of living.
For that amount you can only get a parking spot here.
2 bedroom apartments in prague start at 1 million euro, I make over 90k euro just from dividents, how are you so poor
>>538980825This is the type of shit a Pakistani family of six would move into
>>538981037/threadwhoever designed this belongs in prison
>>538981136WTF is all that homosexual exterior piping? Could Euro build any gayer and weaker?
>>538983572God, I think that's the sewer piping. I have that on my roof. Sometimes, after especially warm days during sunset, the sewer air is vented from the pressure difference and you can smell it. But having it directly on a wall sounds insane.
>>538981081the "studio" is the upstairs of a shop, the staircase has been removed, ceiling filled, and now you have just the upstairsI've been to a viewing, this is usually done in older homes in the town centre, where the downstairs is usually a shop or takeawayfucking grim stuff, should be illegal tbqh but there's so few housing options and so few people in charge willing to explore new options that we've accepted it for what it isand it's decline
>>538981037That's why the room is so cheap. If you want quality you need to pay for it
>>538985497Those 3/4 inch pipes are electrical conduits
>>538987584>buy for 125k>mortgage for 30 years>pay 1 k a month>rent for 1.4K a monthProfit
>>538985497The idea is to stop people from pretending they're not home when the TV license they/them knocks on the door.>knock knock>no response>all of a sudden the pipes start howling as a massive turd is flushed down>get warrant to have the police open the door
>>538981136That's not bad. It's not a common aesthetic choice, but it's clean and done correctly
