I'm 37.
I was in a relationship with my ex from I was 19 to 31. There was no such thing as dating apps, and dating online was reserved for losers, when we got together. Basically spent my most productive decade building up a life for us both. Paid for our house and wedding while she was getting her degree.
Lost everything in the divorce, but thankfully I rebuild my finances in a couple of years.
I got my own house, no debt other than my mortgage, a comfy job, I'm not fat, and I think I got some healthy hobbies with working out, hiking, reading and cooking.
It's not like I'm not getting attention from women, or get to date, but it's either younger women looking for sugar daddy, or women at my age looking for a participation trophy because they couldn't get the man they actually wanted.
