The median cost of a house in the U.S. is $408,776.
Building a house costs $350,000, even less if you can do without some comforts.
It literally costs less to make your own house than to buy a new one.
Why aren't you building your own home away from the city-slickers?

The disappointing thing is even in rural areas nowadays you will be forced to live among shitskins and your kids could end up dating them. There is nowhere on earth you can go to avoid people of shit colored skin

building a house is easy the only part you'd need someone fore is the heating and electricity and plumbing

homesteader here, ive already snapped and froze green beans this morning. next is either dig potatoes, pick carrots or black eyed peas.
i built this house completely by myself. the only tools i used were a skil saw, sawzall, drill and impact driver. it cost $60k including land, well and building materials.

no you dont. you need cash to get started. my bills are $200/month. money makes homesteading way easier but can be done with little money after intial start up.
>>538989720
lots of places in rural america where you can do it. look in ozarks, appalachia and the southwest

get a job framing houses for a year. if you go to work everyday and learn all you can you can build a house if you keep it a simple rectangle design.

Just what I need

I'm way too retarded to build a house, anon.
>>
I'm not home steading because I don't have the essential skills to make it. I fit it much better in a city, even though I yearn for a cabin in the mountains. Alas, I must remain pragmatic.
>>
Because I still need a job and a girlfriend.
