Why is a company that builds data centers, so crucial in the AI era, in crisis?
What happened?
they mostly sell software and supercomputers, right? or at least before the data center boom. maybe corporations don't like SPARC anymore. that's their system, right?
>>538995057Jeets
>>538995057Because they took a huge fucking AI debthttps://www.wsj.com/business/openai-oracle-sign-300-billion-computing-deal-among-biggest-in-history-ff27c8fe?eafs_enabled=false
>>538995057Sending a specialist to the left coast to take care of some things.
>>538995170>SPARCNiggah they dropped that a decade ago. They killed Solaris too.No one knows what these businesses even do anymore. And why you'd need a megacorporation to do it, whatever it is.
>>538995214Jews actually. And they mostly produce litigation.
>>538995057They got massive loans based on an inflated valuation. Now the valuation is more realistic they can afford them.
>>538995057Oracle start using h1b and indians anon
oh and their cloud was a complete flop but some reason HR use it
>>538995170SPARC? Sounds like something from 2003. I used Oracle cloud. It was good beacuse it was free for me. I used free-tier account. But I heard a lot of corporations and govs in the US use Oracle cloud too. Maybe it's not AWS but Oracle had a lot of enterprise customers.
>>538995314>but some reason HR use itOracle was always good at selling their shit to retards.t. had to sit through a day long meeting with their sales reps in the 90s.
>>538995057Chainlink made them obsolete
>>538995252>>538995229But now AI is in very high demand.I can't understand why datacenter company is going under in 2026 when AI is literally everywhere and there will be much more AI than today?
>>538995366SQL database from them used to be best in classthey had something called timesten or x10 that was first to use memory for speed. Was good 20 years ago, now I wouldn't use.I remember wondering why they always have lunch meeting to talk about their product
>>538995502jeets anon
>>538995502You still need to deliver to the shareholders. Right now all they see is massive debt from their speculative investments that their normal solid business isn't enough to rescue.
>>538995463Chainlink also unfortunately made the Chainlink token obsolete (no refunds).
>>538995170>>538995252You're thinking of Sun Microsystems
>>538995057Oracle has nothing but jeets
>>538995609But aren't shareholders absolutely cooming over AI right now anyway? They should be hyped that their companies are building datacenters.AI models are basically just interchangeable commodities. Today it's Claude, tomorrow ChatGPT, the day after Gemini, then some Chinese like Qwen. You can swap them out in a heartbeat. But these models always need hardware, and the physical infrastructure isn't going anywhere. You can dump Anthropic whenever you want, but you can't dump the silicon. The real value isn't in the models themselves, it's in the hardware they run on. That's exactly why hardware stocks are mooning.
>>538995057indian CEO
>>538995911Japs are about to contract Oracle too for "secure cloud" fed infrastructure you can guarantee Trump admin sells Oracle every chance it gets so stock is going back up
>>538995057>Oracle>IBM What do these assholes even do anymore?
>>538995057Oracle got infested with jeets and ruined the company. Just like all companies with jeet infestations. Read the /jjg/ threads in the archive to learn how to get jobs and get rid of pajeets. https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/text/%2Fjjg%2F/type/op/https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/text/%2Fjjg%2F/type/op/https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/text/%2Fjjg%2F/type/op/
>>538995502>But now AI is in very high demand. No it's not. And people that want to use AI find the Chinese models for business purposes both cheaper and capable enough.
>>538995796Nigger, Sun was bought by Larry Ellison's CIA shop.
>>538997374To further my point: https://www.cnbc.com/2026/07/09/palo-alto-ceo-arora-ai-pricing.htmlThe current prices are already massively subsidized. They don't have the means to meet this analysts requirements.
>>538995057With jews YOU LOSE lmao
>>538995502>now AI is in very high demandThis is based entirely upon base consumer use, which people cannot reliably walk away from because it is hardcoded into search engines publicly these days. Businesses are using this as a metric to spread propaganda that people actually want AI for its "convenience", despite there being limited avenues for one to abstain without completely ending their use of search engines.
the next newest new tech will be quantum or wetware comps (growing neurons, using them to compute, merging human-brain with comps)...also look into GaN chips.you're welcome.(if you bought RAM or chip stocks late, after the pump, you got rekt, for example ticker: MRAM)>why is oracle tankingthey invested in tech that is difficult to scale with high cost
