If China invades during the Iran war, the US will have no strategic reserves and no missiles, thus allowing them to steamroll over Taiwan. China can use drone swarms to destroy US oil infrastructure and completely choke off their entire military for the duration of the war. Conclusion: For reasons both internal and external, China will likely invade Taiwan within the next 6 months to a year.
