We have been in a depression since 2001. A depression is where the monetary policy and jobs market changes drastically to where there is no recovery, the markets just "tilt" and things are different afterwards. We can prove this by looking at malls and hiring policy. 3-4 interviews before being hired was normal. What's it now, 3k,4k? We started outsourcing jobs instead of putting programs in place to hire people here. The slacker job market completely died. It's gone and those people have been displaced. C students used to work in video stores and factorys, now they're drug dealers and streamers if they're lucky. Nothing has been normal since 2001.

I moved out when I was 18ish and I would come back after I finished school just because I hadn't found a job yet (chemistry LOL) and I couldn't stand being back home had to get out of there ASAP and I love my family in probably have the greatest parents alive but it doesnt trump being so blissfully alone and isolated.
