Nice graphical representation of Iranian attacks yesterday. Iranian strategy is very logical: wipe out US attack capacity from the 3 main bases in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrein. This military strategy is being implemented at great pace now.

On the other hand, WH strategy is a mixture of blockade, some light attacks and hoping that Iran will come back & make a "deal".

Conclusion: WH has to change strategy; try something else & very soon.

>they may just kick the mutts out themselves.
Makes me think back to the theory that this war is secondarily aimed at punishing the Gulf states for acting too independently of the US as of late.

Since the start of the decade, you had
- Saudis signing a MOU with Iran, brokered by China
- Bahrain reopening its embassy in Tehran
- All gulf states growing increasingly close to China and Russia (Bahrain was the first non-post-Soviet country to adopt Russia's anti-SWIFT Mir payment system, for example)
- UAE and Saudi joining BRICS
- Saudi constantly refusing to join the abrahamic accords
- Growing regional divisions between the Gulf states which could eventually make US presence a wedge issue between them, thus forming a pro-US (Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait) and anti-US bloc (Qatar, Oman, possibly Saudi) in the gulf

By using their pre-existing Gulf bases and freely inviting Iran to strike them, the US is reminding the gulf of how militarily vulnerable they are and why they should definitely continue being good little vassals of the US for their protection.

The new $2B arms deal that the US made with Saudi Arabia is mostly comprised of APKWS guidance systems. The air-to-air system is being increasingly used by the US and GCC nations for shooting down drones. The air-to-ground system is meant for soft targets and possibly USVs.

There was no strategy ever to begin with. They thought by bombing some religious dude, the whole country would suddenly adopt gay marriage and McRibs.

All the US's allies are desperate for this oil. There is no plan B. Europe is already fucked from not being allowed to have russian oil. The US just does not care. They have their own oil.

I really hope the Chinese will take over world hegemony soon, this shit is so fucked.

Gulf arabs do not have the intellectual capacity to understand secondary causation.
Explaining to them why they're being attacked is futile. All they know is that they are being attacked, and that America is "defending" them. They cannot understand that this is a deliberate feedback loop put in place by the US to ensure their continued military vassaldom

>BREAKING
A weapons shipment was intercepted on the Iraqi-Syrian border by the Syrian government. Inside the truck was a myriad of arms ranging from light fpv drones and anti-tank rockets to components for the assembly of long ranged guided missiles and attack drones. It's clear that these munitions were destined to go to Hezbollah, which means that this interception proves two things. The Syrian government are a bunch of traitorous rats seeing as they're currently being invaded by Israel yet are unwilling to simply turn a blind eye to weapons going to the enemies of Israel, but more importantly it proves that Iran has been covertly smuggling weapons to Hezbollah throughout the ceasefire for use when the war innevitably ramps up again. For this one truck caught, an untold number are estimated to have gotten through undetected in the past few months, Syria is far too poor to be acting like border guards are unable to be bribed and/or are sympathetic to Hezbollah's fight.

That's the thing, America has been paying off Turkey and Syria to help Israel with Hezbollah for the past few weeks. That's why Trump met Erdogan and Macron met Julani, and we both know the west has far more money to burn than the Iranians. However, that does not mean that Iran can't simply pay off low level border guards to look the other way when smuggling suspicious trucks through Syria, not to mention how many Assad remnants they most likely are still in touch with. Point is the Syrians are likely trying to intercept shipments, but simply can't because al-qaeda can't into competent governance.

The problem isn't just lack of oil in the market, its the lack of refineries. Raw oil is completely useless unless its refined into gas, diesel, jet fuel etc.... Gulf countries + Russia accounted for a major chunk of refineries on planet earth. Many have been bombed since the start of 2026 and/or otherwise have been blocked from selling their refined products. This is unprecedented.

True, but giving Turkey those shiny new f-35s they've been begging for is a pretty enticing offer. Turkey has vested interests in keeping Iran and its proxy network alive in order to occupy Israel's attention while they expand, but at a certain point bribery will probably be enough to convince them to let Trump arm the Kurds or to allow Syria to invade Lebanon.

Reuters:

Pakistan is preparing for the possibility of involvement in a conflict against the Houthis, as part of a defense agreement with Saudi Arabia, if the escalation worsens.

* Pakistan told Iran attacks on Saudi Arabia cross red line

* Pakistani officials fear Houthi escalation
Islamabad worries about Iranian leadership divides

* Escalation contributed to postponement of Iranian visit, sources say

"It's in everyone's best interest for the war to end," said a different Pakistani source aware of the mediation. "But if Saudi calls us in, we will stand by them and there is no doubt about that."

They've been trying to update their abysmally antiquated airforce for a good while now to compete with Greece and Israel, but buying the Russian s-400s took them off the list for f-35 shipments, and so they tried developing their own native fighter jet program in kaan, but progress has been slow. At this point they need to secure a proper airforce quickly since Israel vocally intends to attack Turkey as soon as (kek) Iran capitulates. Turkey isn't like Iran, their military is incredibly conventional (2nd largest in NATO in fact), they don't have the experience, infrastructure, or industrial base to transition to an asymmetric military like the IRGC.

Larping as ancient civs is cringe frankly. We live in the now, be proud of that. Ancient Iran has basically nothing in common with modern Iran anyway, about as much as Italy has in common with Rome.

that's the whole point of this conflict though. get the US to fight Iran so Lebanon is easier to conquer. That's why they set up a puppet state in Syria; to make arms shipments to Lebanon harder so it's easier to conquer.

Are you retarded? They literally got mongold.com, seljukd.com, and are today a super mutted race of baluchi-mongoloid steppe mystery meat.

They have nothing in common with ancient Persia. Italians with the exception of Sardinia and Sicily are much closer to Romans. At least they got mutted by white Europeans.

By control of the total human population it was the mongols. By landmass it was the British Empire, but only if you accept all the land the British controlled on the maps including places with no human population to administer... Oh and you cannot do the same with the Northern desolate territories the mongols technically controlled access to then they still come on top.

I can name half a dozen times Iran has been conquered off the top of my head. Hell, even culturally Iran is basically alien to Persia. Languages evolved, genetics changed heavily, religion is another obvious factor, there's simply nothing connecting the two besides sharing the same land. No ancient peoples are unchanged and the same in the modern day. It's like claiming that Indonesia is actually the same as the Majapahit or that Guatemalans are the same as the Mayans.

China doesn't even have a single unifying language today, there's Mandarin as the lingua franca obviously, but Cantonese, Wei, Jin, etcetera are all still used locally. Writing has only been independently developed 3 times in history (one of which was the extinct Mayan script) so not changing writing systems is unsurprising.

Okay, and? They're still more genetically similar to ancient Canaanites than ashkenazi or sephardic jews are. Also genetics isn't the point, they came and replaced the natives who lived there undisturbed for thousands of years.

By control of the absolute number of human population it was most likely the Qing (due to simple ping pong population growth), by control of the percentage of human population it is between the Mongols, the British, the Romans or the Achaemenid empire of Cyrus (depending on which estimates for world population and regional population you decide are believable).
>>
>>539053425
Literally not true and you’re talking out of your ass because I’ve read extensively about Persia. I have a few books on the subject. Language is the same with slight differences from ancient Persian no different from how Latin or Chinese dialects evolved. Script is Arabic but language is still ancient Farsi.

Culturally Iran has always had the same unique and resilient culture. The invaders you speak of like the Greeks, Arabs or Turks assimilated into Iranian custom, language and cultures not the other way around. In fact the Arabs 1,500 years ago during the Islamic expansion actually assimilated and spread Persian architecture, poetry, science and culture across the land they conquered. The Arab Empires ended up being culturally more Persian than Arab and we just assume it’s Arab culture today.

Religion changed not by genocide but by mass conversion. Iran is a continuously existing civilisation with no safe of destruction unlike Rome, the Maya, the Aztecs, the Phoenicians etc etc

For Rome there are no Romans today. We can pin point the end and know the people living in the land of Italy for example are various invaders like lombards, North Africans and Levantines. Many of whom actually replaced the original Italian Roman population during the empire through migration, not conquest.

Iran or Persia is very different in comparison.

>It's like claiming that Indonesia is actually the same as the Majapahit or that Guatemalans are the same as the Mayans.
No it's not, don't be disingenuous. Indonesia and Guatemala are administrative creations that arose out of colonial logistics.
There has been a nation in Iran who called themselves Iranians since at least the Avesta (c. 900 BC) and that nation has had a state called Iran within Iran's modern borders since Cyrus. That nation's statehood, identity as a distinct nation, language, and many elements of its ancient culture (e.g. the Iranian calendar) still continue to exist.
It's more like saying Russia is the same nation that existed since the unification of Moscow and Vladimir in the 14th century. Just because Russia was invaded a few times, the Russian language changed over time, or that most Russians are now not practising Christians doesn't mean modern Russians are "larping" when they hearken back to their medieval history.

You can deconstruct and obfuscate your way out of every national identity if those counted.

Just not true and a tiny snippet of information is not a broad and comprehensive rebuttal fyi. Yes, the Mongolia slaughtered millions, but they did not repopulate the land which is today Persia. The ethnic Iranians repopulated it themselves. Bro check their dna they’re Iranic Persians not Turkic steppe rapists.

Same goes for Iraq lmao. Nigger wants to argue that Iraqis are Turks because the mongols burned Baghdad. No. They slaughtered half the population and set up client kingdoms in their place ruling over the natives. They didn’t ethnically replace these swathes of land.

Where they did leave large lasting genetic legacy is in the Eurasian steppes above which was pretty much the borders of the USSR.

>but you live on stolen land too!!!!
Yeah that happened over a hundred years ago nigga, a bit too late to rectify considering there's a grand total of about 5 pure blood native americans left. Comparing this to Israel which is ethnically cleansing Palestinians as we speak is retarded as fuck. I'm against all replacement, be it replacement migration in Europe or settler colonialism in Palestine (the two are actually pretty connected considering how Israel destabilizes the region which causes migrant waves to flood into Europe).

Reuters report: Iran ordered the Houthis to close the Bab al-Mandab Strait if the United States attacks energy infrastructure

A source close to the Houthis told Reuters that the organization has completed preparations to attack vessels by deploying missiles and water cannons in the area of the Bab al-Mandab strait. It was also reported that the representatives of the Revolutionary Guards who are already in Yemen will be the ones to make the decision when to close the strait. The decision itself is being discussed at the top of the Iranian leadership.
