I was on Island Beach State Park in NJ for the 4th and saw every cool plane the US has fly over, I think they were headed to NYC harbor. Saw everything from F18's/22's/35's, ospreys, B52 B2 and B1b flew in one formation, was pretty cool. They even had some ww2 bombers and fighters too
